If you look carefully you can just see the start of the “sleeve” that the cables run through. It’s part of the carbon frame and is the thickness of the cables in height and about 3 cables wide. I had the motor out when I done mine but if you remove the motor cover which is easy as you can probably re thread it all through there.
This is as far as my 170 AXS goes down leaving 5mm clearance to the frame. At 5”10 I just am right at full height, maybe a tad over but I can still cycle fine.
How do you find the Ohlins air shock compared to the X2?
No idea, never ridden an X2. But it works fine as far as I can tell. To be fair, I haven’t ridden any big mountain due to covid restrictions but my mate has one on his Commencal and loves it.
Over the motor as there’s no room on either side of the SL motors.

What is the base tune/code in that X2?Just had a new 22 FOX X2 Float Factory VVC shock installed and rode it earlier (my vote: highly recomended).
I'd recomend to anyone running the stock Fox Elite and looking for better performance, there are options. I will say the Elite shock is very good, but with the Factory X2/VVC, you definately can feel the difference. There's also Coil shocks that some are running on the Kenevo SL. For now at least, I was looking to avoid adding weight to the bike, but wanted better adjustability with my shock...The good news is the Factory VV2 is quite a bit better than what Specialized spec'd on the non S-Works.
The ride quality of the Factory X2 feels way better and the bike is simply more composed overall, plus there's way more options for setup. You can take a 230x65 body and make it a 230x62.5 to fit the Kenevo SL. That's what my shop did for me....see below.
In the States, a shout out to Fluid Focus in San Diego - they are legit. I picked up the shock from them, they even installed it for me thankfully. They know suspension.

Now some bling. I didn't take a pic of the new rebound adjuster, which is really low on the shock. It requires assistance to turn. Next I'll be putting on my Factory Fox 38 with Kashima coatings. I have them on another bike, so it should be an easy swap.

CL002 is the climb switch so I believe that 002 is referring to the added compression tune. CM is compression medium.
Less chance of pedal strikes was the goal. Will now experiment with the adjustable geo. Head angle changed from the steep to the neutral setting with flip chip in high. Front centre just grew about 9mm (1290mm) and reach reduced by xx (I didn't measure itWell, at least it's a tad bit lighter now.
