Hello folks. My Gen 1 KSL which is a bit over a year old started having this knocking sound when the motor disengages. So basically motor kicks in, you get the support then when I stop pedaling I feel a knock as the support goes away. More noticeable on full support 100/100, but also noticeable in my trail 70/70 mode. I don't know if I'm just noticing this now and it is normal, or if I should take it to the shop for evaluation.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

nothing. the usual nothingness. no resistance, no odd sounds, no engagement of anything.
I only ask because its what I just experienced. When I would pedal backwards it was NOT disengaging and it would also grind when pedaling hard.... had to replace motor.... I think I read somewhere someone had knocking sound on KSL. let me see if I can find it....

Anyone in the UK have any experience with the Vivid shock, tuned for the SL?
My LBS says none available in the UK and 5 months wait before Rockshox will have any in country?
Don't know whether to try to import one myself or go for a standard tuned vivid
All thoughts welcome.
Cheers,
John

Just get the standard shock and have it tuned with either TF or J-Tech, if you buy it from them they’ll set it up for you. It will probably be better than the “factory” tune anyway.
