Did you buy a frame only?
but there's nearly nothing left from stock. not even the cranks were left on the frame :sneaky: But in this configuration it feels more reliable and cheap if parts wear/ get damaged. For me a Shimano 11-speed cassette with 32t steel chainring on front is enough range and is cheap enough when changing it twice a year.

I have a 210x52.5 Superdeluxe Ultimate (with or without a Meg Neg) from my old stumpy I may try. Length is slightly less than the 210x55 on the Levo though...

The SD even in standard form was WAY more supple than the X2 Perf I have.

Good ride for me last night though, think I've found the sweet spot on the performance X2, just the right amount of pop for most jumps now, still supple enough (mostly). Not sure I can improve it any more

Do ebikes really eat cassettes that fast - I ride frequently, probably 3 times a week for 3 hours. I might use some of the chinesium ones from Aliexpress if I'm gonna chew through these at 2 a year

Spacers are helping you to prevent from reaching too easy max. travel stop without increasing air pressure. Adding spacers at same air pressure will increase spring stiffness at small bumps just a little little bit, on big bumps more. I use to add spacers, when sag is at 25-30% and the top out is reached too often. In the X2 i had to add 2 Spacers and it worked perfect from the spring side. In stock there were 0 ! In the now used super deluxe 210x55 were 2 spacers, but i will have to add a third one.

To the Chain/Cassette life: It depends on support mode i thin. When i'm in DH-shuttle mode for example 2 x per week 4x500m altitude in Turbo with 2x500Wh battery, the chain and cassette are worn after 4-6 months during summer :-/ when using the bike more for touring with mixed support modes the chain should last more kilometers.

Hi !

After my X2 was blown and another X2 has the same sideplay feelable on the air seal when flexing the backwheel i tried a Super deluxe. First ride was promising, little bit less small bump plushness. but i will retune from
low reb/comp to Med tunes and update with the Megneg Aircan. The damper seems to be mechanically much more stable without any visible bushing play atside loads compared to the X2.
I hope to reach the same damping performance as the X2 with a better robustness. This shock costs half the price of X2 and reduces weight by 250gr.
--> I will report after the first rides with the Megeneg Can and Med tune with my experience...

Two questions if any one can help

I had a gen 1 Levo in medium and never realised it was too small for me until I got my 2019 carbon expert in large, this is verging on too big but I love the reach and I have been so much faster on it and grew to love it although it was harder to lift the front for sure.

so interested In the gen3 and I would have for sure got a size L but now unsure is S3 will be too small but S4 looks a lot bigger. I’m 5’8 and a bit at 80kg short legs but average arms.

second question, what do you need to put the 700w gen2 Levo battery in the gen3?

What's the prognosis after the opp on being "as you were" , ie, could it be you'll have slightly less stretch/movement in the shoulder areas/upper body ? Can't help but think that the S3 would be the one to go for ? I'm slightly taller (and better looking) than you and I was going for the S3 but never got a reply from the shop so didn't bother. But from comparing different bikes, sizing, what I feel comfortable with, what feels like it drops like a rock at the front in neutral and all the human size/bike size on here, s3 seemed right.

FYI here are the part numbers for the expander kit and rock guard kit for the Gen3:
Rockguard kit: S214200033

Expander kit: S214200032

I recently tried to order a complete extra battery for the Gen3 and was given a part number by Specialized but I think that number is not functional yet. So I ordered the battery for the Gen2 which is the same as already mentioned, and the other stuff separate. Worked fine. Not sure if a new expander is needed. The one that came with the Gen2 battery was a two piece part and the Gen3 are a one piece part but they look very similar in size.

Hello folks,
I am new here and will of course still register in the newbie part of the forum, as well as introduce my bike illustrated.
I currently ride a S-Works Turbo Levo 3Gen, Size S3.
As I read here before registration, Brose engine problems are not unknown.
I got a new motor. If I have deciphered correctly from mid-September this year.
To my questions I would like to ask here.
1. what has been improved on this new motor?(old: 100, latest generation: 200), or should have been improved?
Anything official from Specialized?
2. what is the meaning of the number "2", or "3" after the number block, which you can take the date of manufacture of the engine?

I use: 35/50 - 55/70 - 100/100.
Try to simulate x2, x3 and full power

With eco and in relative flat land i can ride for about 120km with a full battery

Love that and very close to buying one myself. Does the frame have much protective tape as standard? I used to own a gloss black Canyon and the top tube went pretty dull due to mud and grit rubbing on it.

Has anyone tried 170mm forks? Also what geo are people running. I have 160mm zebs and a e storia shock. Setting standard and low on the rear.

I'm thinking of upgrading the air shaft in mine to 170mm

High rear slack front. 64HTA I think? 10mm will give us 0.5 slacker
