Is anyone running a DVO Topaz? I've ran one in the past and really liked it on an ibis. Not sure if there's much to gain though over the RX tuned float X. I may just hold out and upgrade to an X2 or push 11-6

Hello everyone, I'm about to pull the trigger for an ebike and the alloy Comp is in my top choice. I'm a bit scared about battery. I'm 92 kg. I'm only looking to do between 30-40 km, not more. Where I live there's some vertical climb for about 10 km sometime. Is battery will be enough?

Othe question: can we "still" upgrade the TCU unit to the Mastermind one?

Cheers, I love you guys!

The Alloy Comp comes with the 700wh batteriy - I get 40-50 km out off my 700wh - Sometimes 50-60 km
I have the Mastermind on my S-Works - don't know about upgrading the TCU

Hi, just bought the S works Frame in the blue... Has anyone out there had any success with the Cascade Components... long shock link for heavy Clydes I am 230lb or 104.7 kilos kitted up... where you can bump the rear travel up to 165mm... and/or has run a fork at 170mm or 180mm?

TURBO LEVO LONG SHOCK KIT (2022-CURRENT): Turbo Levo Long Shock Kit (2022-Current)

on my 2018 levo I had got a link from bike yoke... and it work ok until my bomber cr broke... I am using the 2022 fox dps in its place..so far so good... I don't want to break my $8500 frame...

I have the jade x on my 21 levo wouldn’t say the coil is great for that frame design if your over 80kg I wouldn’t recommended
but did you have them prepare it for the Levo when you bought it? I saw on their site that with € 100 they change the internal melody and do it as for your bike, for your weight and for your indications. Shock absorbers need to be prepared for each frame, they cannot work well from stock for all bikes

Yes it was set up for my weight speed and bike dvo nz does this for every bit of suspension they sell. For my weight 87kg I had to run the 575/700 pound progressive spring had correct sag but it was very active I also got shaft wear using the lock out due to side flex in the frame I’m not saying it felt bad but think the topaz feels better. the topaz 2 which felt a lot more linea but had issues with that after four rides sounded like air in oil and sent it back in which then serviced it and sent it back now it’s in my gen 3 which I rode for the first time today

I have a brand new Jade X with a green progressive 525-650 spring that was custom valved for a Stump jumper EVO which is what the gen 3 suspension is based off of if anyone is interested.

Hi, what are the reasons why you have chosen DVO?
And why not a Jade-x?

I chose DVO as I like the performance and I've had great experience with their customer service. Issue or a tech question just call and they get you sorted. I had a dvo setup with the Jade X on my Giant and really liked that shock. Only issue is it doesn't have a ton of adjustments so if you need more adjustment than it offers you need to get it tuned for you.

I already had an Onyx E fork so decided to put it on the levo and get the new Topaz.

For this bike I heard they don't recommend the Jade X, as the levo is hard on shocks. This new Topaz was designed to take the stress of yoke driven linkages like the levo so it should be a good match.

The topaz isn't even on DVOs website yet but they do have a few sizes in stock and I put in a preorder for the 230x65 when I ordered the cascade link....got lucky and both showed up within a week of each other......now I need the trails to dry out!

Bad news just did a full travel inspection and this new long shock link is NOT compatible with the seatstays on a S2 alloy comp....the link bottoms out in the seatstay clevis limiting full travel....I'm pretty bummed.....I will contact cascade tomorrow. I'm guessing they will need new link plates for the alloy version.

Is there a way to monitor the percent of charge on a Gen 3 Levo without disconnecting the charger? It looks like you're stuck with the strip of LED lights, which is more granular than I'd like.

Just the 4 bars of blinking green lights at the charging port. Each bar represents approximately 25% charge. I did read that your bike TCU should not be powered on when charging, so I don’t think there’s another way to monitor. It would be great to be able to have the mastermind TCU powered on so you could see exact charge percentage during charging.

When charging there is no connection between battery and TCU / Motor.

Is anyone running the cascade standard link, not the LT version? If so, what do you think of it? DVO says the leverage ratio is really high and is difficult to tune for if your over 200lbs and I get close to that

Pity the motor is SO SO noisy that it is embarrasing to ride it and I have gone back to riding my 2019 Gen 2 Levo Comp and parked the $17,500.00 of new bike. Specialised NZ suggested stuffing sound proofing in the motor compartment. REALLY
