And this is why I'm not a fan of bafang going canbus on everything, going even further to lock down flashing diffferent firmwares. There could possibly be a 48v firmware if what they claim is true, but we need some proof from them with their claims. You can't.
different firmware, third party battery 410wh 2.4kg,720wh 3.5kg,the shopkeeper told mePerhaps he's implying you can stick any voltage battery on any motor? (BESST or firmware change?)
I wish this whole conversation wasn't so cryptic. I understand it could be a language issue.
I much prefer canbus. Canbus is more reliable and less noisy that serial connections. And this is why I'm not a fan of bafang going canbus on everything, going even further to lock down flashing diffferent firmwares. It sounds fine to me too especially the low cadence one. Thank you btw.Videos of noise (not mine).

Anyone know if there is a physical difference between the dp 180 and 181 ? I was told they would replace it if it was a 180 as it was intended to be a 181
Which is potentially valuable because if you ever decide to use Besst to program it you don't need a cable.Bluetooth on the 181. Only difference
@LAnton Thank you I understand now!
It is my video btw. I posted to M820 thread.Videos of noise (not mine).

Also If you ever need/want to use the New Bafang Go+ App it needs bluetooth. Can anyone confirm the app works on M820?Which is potentially valuable because if you ever decide to use Besst to program it you don't need a cable.
Currently not workingAlso If you ever need/want to use the New Bafang Go+ App it needs bluetooth. Can anyone confirm the app works on M820?
There is a new batch already? Any info on differences? Hardware / Controller/ Firmware? The seller also told me that the new batch of M820 is much quieter
nope, well really didn't even tried it@stuff Did you ever try to get the "Rocket" mode to work. Tapping the arrow while in boost to make it add power for a moment?
I've never used Besst, but does this mean if you have a DP181 or other bluetooth display you could use the Besst program without a physical/proprietary cable? i.e. connect to the motor for programming completely wirelesslyWhich is potentially valuable because if you ever decide to use Besst to program it you don't need a cable.
I thought it was the possibility to use the bafang go+ app?AS far as I know that is the only purpose of having the bluetooth version of the display.
For now it's not work.I thought it was the possibility to use the bafang go+ app?
