good morning, a question regarding the chainring: it does come standrd with a 32T, but can I find different size aftermarket? Is it steel? Do we need any special proprietary tool to remove it?
I assembled it with 34T, but I've never disassembled it so I don't know if I'll need any special tools to remove it. I think 32T would be bad for maintaining faster shifting speeds.

I use a 104BCD 32T aluminum aftermarket no prob. Raceface is a common choice. Don't need steel on a 1x12 drivetrain, very little wear and 2-3x heavier.

Should be able to run a 30-36 T range on 104BCD depending on needs.

The only thing about compatibly is the Bafang spider (like Mike's link above) and the ISIS interface/spindle.

Fortunately that's why we have a wide range of cranks to use (ISIS compatible).😁

Thanks for the clarification, it helps.
But you’re correct, crank ‘s length will do the trick (ordered some 155mm from Miranda).

Well, I was thinking of a 30T as it’s pretty steep where I live (and any bike I’ve tried in 29er that uses 32 or bigger always felt off) and the bike will likely never see the asphalt to reach those speeds
