Check out Rocky. Rocky doesn't turn on on my motor.
I've been using the DPC 245 on my M600. I wonder if it has anything to do with "rocky mode". DPCs 245 v 181?

OEM is the DPC 1 81. I ordered one of those too to see if that might make a difference.

My DPC245 display has 5 unchangeable (?) modes. Technically, no "Rocky" mode.

Walk
0
Eco
Trail
S = "speed"
S+
B = "boost"

How is the S+/Boost mode for you when you tested it out on the trail?

If the motor reaches peak Nm/W in "B" mode in the DPC 245, the intial "Rocky" mode may be obsolete, and therefore, "tuned out" by Bafang engineers on the new batch of M820 controllers? So, could be a good thing.👍

Rocky mode is not an assist selection. "Activating this function is simple, with a single or double click on the “+” sign, dependent on if you already in the boost mode. When entering the “Rocky mode” (seen in the display as a special Rocky icon) the rider will enjoy a “Rocky push feeling” for a set continuous period."

Yeah. I get that. But it might not work with DPC 245. Only the 181. We'll seen soon hopefully.💪

It dawns on me that the "rocky" mode can't be limited to the DP181 because the description says "(seen in the display as a special Rocky icon)" and the DP181 does not have a display. ??

The first frame L has arrived, we are starting to assemble. Please note that the frame has bolts for attaching the motor. The handbag includes 3P

I received the delivery last week, gave up painting and assembled it. The motor seems to be better than I thought, and the frame is... questionable. Going to do a real test in the mountains tomorrow.

Hey Lee, have you had a chance to get out and ride it? What are your initial impressions? Any comments of the power, max wattage you’re experiencing? The delivery of the power? Last question, how does the frame feel does the quality seem good?

For those ordering it with the Bafang 410w battery you should put some supports to hold the battery (bafang issue commented by Jim on the 930 thread), if not the bat screws will brake.

This DOESNT occur with the 720w battery.

I have designed and 3d printed them and will share it with Linda and whoever needs it. I’ve used petg+cf filament for durability

Linda says that issue is not a problem with the CEF50.
"Really thank you for your information.the updated BF014 battery do not affect our CEF50, our design is not same with lightcaron frame, we fix the battery from the inside of the downtime, thank you very much."

It doesnt affect the frame because the battery is attached to a steel bar, its a matter of just getting an updated bar or using supports.

Has anyone that ordered a frame with the Bafang 410wh battery had theirs shipped yet? I'm still waiting for them to get batteries (likely the redesigned model)

I rode a 45km mountain course over the weekend. The power was sufficient for me, and the battery was sufficient with 47% left. I'm trying to stay away from the Dengfu e10+m510 I used to ride. However, the completeness of the frame is a little disappointing due to the fine gap in the bearing part of the headset. I'm glad if it's just my frame. It is in a state of disassembly to solve the frame painting and headset gap.

4 screws attached to a steel bar that then has two more screws to the bafang battery or if using the big battery they’re in the case

Im quite tight on time, but will post photos/info/updates as soon as I can
Do you think a coil spring would fit?

Sorry you're having frame issues. 😞Hopefully, the ZSSZ's engineering team will help solve it soon for you.🤞

Any comments on two M820 motor concerns;

1) How's the noise loudness during S+/boost modes... especially while climbing?

2) Were you able to activate "Rocky mode"?

What defect are you writing about, please take a photo. What is your battery capacity?
