If I remember, you had a Mezzer Pro that I am wondering about, but now I doubt if it is a good option. I'm still thinking of Zeb ult 29 or lyrik ult 29. What are your experiences with mezzer?
The Mezzer is a great fork from performance point of view, with the unique IRT feature and hydraulic bottom out. But the fork started to creek from the steering tube to fork crown connection, and developed noticeable bushing play. After 4! weeks of waiting for my warranty replacement I asked for refund and decided to buy a Fox instead. The Mezzer tread in the MTB news forum says that this is an issue with the Mezzer, and I don’t want to send my fork in for repair every couple of month. After changing the fork, my front is quiet and my smile is back. The Fox performance is even better then the Mezzer, in regards of small bump compliance, and beefier feeling. Hope the Fox doesn’t start to creek - its also a known issue here.

Please can you detail with which items ? pics of your derailleur position ? necessary to use 12V derailleur ? i have tried with several ZTTO cassette (not find other in 11/50 9V), sram EX1 derailleur, sram X0 9V shift lever. It work corectly at workshop but the 2 taller pignos jump 1 teeth ofen when i apply strong torque to climb, alike if casette is worn out. i haven't find why ? in add i have broken several KMC 9 speed chains (bad quality, badly crimped). I ended by reinstall the 11 speed. But i will apreciate tio use 9 speed, it is enough for M600
I have lengthened the 9 speed chain to I think 20 links. It's a Shimano chain. The derailleur is a long leg unit from alliexpress. It does sit low and picks up twigs a lot. Also it skips 4th but that is the cable stretching.

Thanks mate, my pleasure! Recently changed the front to a Fox 38 Factory 29“ 180. This fork really makes a difference, More speed, more confidence, very precise and forgiving on fast descends. Love it!
Wow, cool. I am running the Fox 38 with 160 mm and i am super happy with it.

May be You remember, I used a longer rear shock 216 x 63 mm, resulting in 170 mm rear travel. Therefore I need to run a longer fork to balance the bike and the suspension. The fork is great!
How was the bb height using such a long shock? I'm about to buy an e10 frame kit and already have a 216x63 shock that would work, but was worried it might be too long. Thanks

BB is at 358 mm with mullet wheelset. Sounds high, but considering 170 / 180 mm travel and 30% SAG according to my preferences, perfect. Almost no pedal strikes with standard 170 mm cranks.

What is the head angle for your set up? Mine is very similar.

Just as a bit of a heads up, I’m running a Mullet set up and running 150mm travel which puts my BB probably at the low end of the BB height. I have been running Whytes to date and that’s how they like to set their bikes up, low COG which gives good handling but with the inevitable consequences of the occasional pedal strike which is how I set my E10 up, with virtually the same BB height as my T129.

For some reason, possibly I think the pedal width is a tad more than on a normal mtb, I was getting too many pedal strikes on the E10. Upping the shock pressures was killing the sag settings and ramping up the compression settings to stop excessive travel was losing that nice plush feel I like over the bumps, so what to do ?

Lunar does shortened crank arms, 155mm which sounds really short but on the M600 I have to say they really suit the E10 / M600 combo. One ride and you won’t go back to the normal 170 arms. They are good, seem to solve the pedal strike issues with this combo and not expensive. I thought I would use more battery, the ground surface has changed so much with all the rain we‘ve had that I can’t be sure, but certainly not out of the ordinary.

The wheel circumference is mentioned on a sticker at the motor, mine was 2274 mm as I remember. This should match a 29 x 2.4 wheel. If not, You need the Besst Tool from Bafang to reprogram the controller.

So does this mean that if running a 27.5" wheel without reprogramming with the besst tool the motor speed cut out will be reduced?

Yes, that is what happens. In my case using 27.5 x 2.6 tire I changed the wheel circumference from 2274 mm to 2192 mm, selected from pull down menu in the Besst tool. Now the speed is matching with GPS.

From experience the front mudhuggers only work sort of on the rear, best to go full monty.


Now these do work well.

I was on a test drive today. forest trails uphill. the engine is weak for such rides. I was expecting more than 95nm! should i upgrade the firmware, maybe it will help?

Hi All, wondering if anyone out there with a 15" or 17" dengfu e10 frame would be willing to measure the RAD of their bike (i'd also need to know what size stem you are using). Thanks in advance. See the video for how to measure (start at 6.00 Min).

Hello, who ordered this E10 frame with battery and motor from September to November? They sent me everything separately on October 23, 2021, and a week ago I received the frame and motor via GLS courier in a nice 14 days. Only the battery is wandering somewhere through the UPS courier and I suspect they sent it by train, so delivery 50-90 days ... 😳 Does anyone have such an experience? Well thank you

same experience here ... frame and motor arrived in less then 3 weeks .. .battery still pending delivery for over 6 weeks already

I already have an E10 complete and I only need a battery. And since I still have time, I decided to spray the frame exactly according to Canyon Spectral, which it will replace. So I dismantled it again and sprayed it. Tomorrow I'm going to put the varnish, put everything down on Monday and wait for the battery ... 👍

after a few rides on the forest trails I can say that I am very happy with the bike. the geometry of the bike with 29-29 wheels 160mm fork is equally good for ups and downs. on the climbs there is no excessive lifting on the rear wheel, everything can be controlled. engine power m500 very good does not deliver torque instant care with slight delay. there is no wild power delivery like the giant syncdrive pro. it is easier to control the bafang on the hills, although it seems to lack strength in some places! just need to adjust the cadence. on the downhills the bike is super fast steerable. the size and geometry of the bike suits me. today's drive of 33 km and 1400 meters altitude on forest trails consumed 40% of the battery. for now I am very satisfied. however after riding i washed the bike now it has to dry because when i turn it on it shows 1% battery. I hope everything will be ok 😀😀😀

I too have made a fabric cover for the battery compartment area (although your's looks significantly neater than mine).

I had some proper trouble with the needle getting gummed up by the adhesive on the closed cell foam that I put on the back of the cordura though.

It also billows out a bit where the shock mount bit is, I can't work out how to stop that short of sticking velcro to the frame too (which seems a bit of a dumb idea). It has definitely kept out most of the muck and the catch doesn't get stuck anymore. Plus it's easy to take off and clean.

Just came back from a quick 40 minute blast in the local woods during an unseasonably dry UK Sunday.
