If you use a Garmin-head-device you can get rid of that power-reading:
connect your device as a combined speed/cadence sensor and cut off power sensor.
With 13.A.0 you‘ll get wrong readings of rider-power in Mission Controll App as well as on ANT+ devices like Garmin Edge.
This was corrected in following firmware versions.
I don‘t think there were other remarkable changes.
Forgive me to hijack the thread:
anyone who uses this mudhugger with MAXXIS 2.5 Assegai?
BTW: What do you prefer:
Eddy 2.6 /Magic Mary 2.6 / MAXXIS Assegai 2.5 / MAXXIS Minion DHR 2.4
...for mainly stones, gravel, gravel over hard - no mud (don‘t like ride in mud)
I built my Stages powermeter on my S-Works Levo 2019 to compare the power data. It turned out that the values matched well, but the reaction-speed of the Stages is much faster when you stop and start pedalling again. So if you often pedalling a lot of varying power, the average power of the...
@Funkeydunk : which Edge and which firmware are you running?
It seems, Garmin broke the ebikefield for 530, 830 and 1030 again with their last firmware from last week.
BTW: Ebike Battery and Assist Mode you show on your picture seem not to be Jan Capeks ebike fields!
Did you download „ebike...
-it‘s not possible to go smaller than 30T in front
-rear: there are 10-46 available (I think 9 is not available).
For me it was too much work to change the cassette - it‘s ok for me as it is now.
...something to have checked out.
Seems there is a contact problem.
BTW: with my 2019 Levo there‘s no need to press ON button until the led-flashing-routine is finished - just press about 1 sec on mine, then start-up-routine comes up.
There‘s no need to take off the crank or even pedal to change the chainring.
Loosen the 4 screws of the chainring and pull it over the spider, the crank and the pedal. Pull the new ring over the spider in the same way and fix the 4 screws. Done.
(I did it that way with a new 30 T chainring)
To deactivate the calibration-message:
-turn on your Levo
-turn on your Edge
-goto sensors, tap on power-sensor (must be connected!)
-tap on sensor-information
-disable calibration-message
One cannot calibrate the power-readings for ebikes. It‘s an option for power-cranks.
If I remember well, you can deactivate the calibration-message.
(Have to look at my 1030)
Anyway - I don‘t get such a message.
