If you are having problems with distance it is not an issue of Jan Capeks ebike field. The „normal“ field does not report distanc and the „nerd style“ field simply takes distance which is reported by the Garmin device.
So, first we have to know: where comes distance information on your bike...
I‘m pretty sure it is „rider power“ - your personal power only.
For Garmin devices I know it. As far as I know your Levo transmitts no other power over ANT+.
What you can do to be sure: download Spesh Mission Control to your phone. With that app you can monitor both - rider power and motor power.
It‘s a simple job on your Edge - nothing else needed:
1 Bring the device (Edge) within 3 m (10 ft.) of the sensor (Levo).
NOTE: Stay 10 m (33 ft.) away from other riders' ANT+ sensors while pairing.
2 Select Menu > Settings > Sensors > Add Sensor.
3 Select an option: Power
4 Levo will be found...
I assume we are speaking about ebike field from Jan Capek

It is not an app but a datafield. If you have downloaded it from the IQ store and it was installed on your device you have to set it on one of your datascreens like...
Your Edge has ANT+ ! And Jan Capeks IQ app works via ANT+.
So it should work (showing battery and support).
Alternatively you can see if your Edge has ebike sensor possibility (I don‘t know)
Edge 820 Explore cannot display power, cannot connect to a power sensor.
You‘ll see your Levo as...
Yesterday you had hand pumps, today you have co2 cartridges in your pockets! ;)

Edit:
I just realized that my in answer #5 submitted layout was created with...
All your data about achieved duration and altitude meters and the remaining battery level are not very meaningful, if you do not also indicate the personal contribution (kCal/kJoule)!
I‘m sorry - I did not recognize that the SL spider is mounted in another way than the Levo spider.
My warning is for „normal“ Levo. (Maybe it is also valid for SL).
Levo: The danger is that by pulling the spider the crank shaft can be moved (pressed in).
