Hi @crbnred - puzzling indeed. Your Levo does store these events in the memory on the TCU and either retailers can see these when they physically connect - or you can choose to upload the log remotely so that we/your retailer can then analyse remotely. Could you go to Diagnose - Advanced...
Hi @speedkills - good question & hard to answer 100% with a single blanket answer, however I'm sure most would appreciate there is a difference between a rider visiting their retailer with a fault vs a rider wanting the latest feature release.
If a fault/bug occurs within warranty and is...
Working on it! The challenge here is translation and the limits of a small screen - i.e. if you're updating from 5 versions ago you need more release notes than if from 1 prior version. We will get there, no intention to hide anything, but it will take us a while to present it clearly within a...
Sorry to hear - you definitely don't need to reinstall Mission Control. Could be worth logging out and in again, if that doesn't solve it I'll PM you get serial number and check in our back end here.
Not regional and no new app download should be required. This was quietly enabled on our back-end for specific bikes/FW bundles only - see the top of this thread for more info and why there's no in-app message to draw attention to it.
@ebikeZA which bike do you have and which motor FW are you...
And the first prize goes to @salko !
Correct - on the 15th June 2020 we soft-launched functionality within Mission Control for Levo 2019/2020 and Kenevo 2020 owners to update their TCU firmware. This will ensure that riders have the latest TCU performance updates, bluetooth connectivity...
In case you were still struggling with an issue here @Utah Rider - some riders did experience issues with reduced power when they had motors replaced during service. In every case retailers had forgotten to update the bike firmware after the motor replacement, once the bike was fully updated the...
@Quantumceo sorry to hear. Most likely you have a short circuit somewhere on the main power cable connecting the battery to motor - often caused by water getting in through a crack in the rubber boot. The alternate flashing LEDs on the battery are telling you there's a short between two of the...
Hi @bigwaves311 - recommend you get a retailer to look at this battery on our latest diagnostic tool. If there's a cell imbalance that the BMS won't correct via charging (assuming an authentic Levo charger is being used and waiting until the charger LED turns green) then the diagnostic tool...
Hmmm, sorry to hear. I can dig into this for you - please confirm which phone and MC version you're running. Did you pair the HR sensor with the phone or with the MC app? You need to go into the MY SENSORS part of the MC settings and connect there (apologies if this is what you already did) -...
Hi @Gabypb - really sorry to hear this. It does sound as though this cable could be your issue - but you'll need to find a retailer local to you to check the bike over. I'll send you a PM and let's see if we can find a retailer to help you out.
Hi @happybutsad - Firstly sorry to hear that your Levo has an issue, depending on your purchase date and the issue you're experiencing I can't promise that this can be treated as a warranty issue but am happy to look into it. Will send you a PM.
Secondly, apologies that no-one has got back to...
Thanks for confirming. Brose ship all service motors at their latest FW version - currently 7.1.1. With the Levo 2020 the correct version of FW is 6.1.0 - this failure to turn off is simply a compatibility issue with the motor having the default Brose FW instead of the Specialized approved...
@nathan - sorry to hear. The discounted offer here is in line with our Assisted Purchase program for out-of-warranty failures but I understand you feel that there was an underlying issue all along. I can't promise an outcome but I'm happy to dig in further for you and have sent you a PM.
Sorry to hear @ejay - please book this in with your retailer. They do have a diagnostic tool which enables them to reset the battery management system (BMS) - resetting and force-updating the firmware (if it will allow) may help. Otherwise your retailer will be able to arrange warranty service.
Hi @Kiwi in Wales ,
Firstly - thanks again for raising these questions. Totally valid and you have every right to ask - we can see that there is interest in getting answers - however they demand deeper research and support from our technology partners than the average forum post. Given the...
Infinite tune on the Gen 1 Levo was unlocked with a battery FW update which is what you primarily need - as other riders are suggesting. We'd always recommend a full-bike update however.
Hi @NULevo - thanks for asking. This is a warning rather than an error, it's coming from the motor - the motor is effectively telling you that it didn't get an official message from the TCU to switch off before the 36V supply from the battery was lost. This could be for a few reasons: -
1) You...
