Just to provide a little more clarity on this thread - I can see some of you have great questions. Mission Control has the capability to update bikes and we'll continue to develop this functionality, however bikes in the field to date weren't all designed/built with this in mind. That means that...
Hi @MrSimmo. Tough question but thanks for asking all the same - our position is that the firmware update we've released is meaningful for existing owners - the vast majority of whom are riding without issue anyhow - as it will extend the life of existing motors. Additionally, Mike's letter to...
@salko there was a tightening in legislation over walk-assist, this firmware update does slightly reduce the speed of the walk-assist function. We referenced it in the Q&A over on the pinned thread with rider letter/Q&A. It's not something we're 100% happy about and are hoping to improve this in...
Thanks for asking @Manxbiker - the bottom line is that we don't want riders to be charged for this update. I'm guessing a few others may have the same question and I don't have the bandwidth to respond to every request, but whilst there are a couple of regional differences in general we'll cover...
Thanks for the question @Roger20 - I don't believe there are any changes related to water sealing made to the 2.1 motor since release. Having said that, water sealing has steadily improved with our motors since the 1.1 was released in 2016.

Thanks for all of your support & feedback on this forum. We'll keep a close eye on this thread and do our best to answer any questions.
Usually your phone screen will go blank (switch off/standby) after X mins. How long X mins is will depend on your personal phone settings, typically intended to preserve battery life. If you want to put your phone on the bars and use it to watch your route, monitor riding stats etc you can keep...
Sorry for the late response. Whilst I appreciate that this error looks new to you, it was always there in the background - we hid a number of errors until we were confident that we had a meaningful answer, hence now you can see it following a firmware update.
Regarding the Lupine light, we did...
