@Egregor glad to hear they found the issue. The TCU is the brain of the bike, so if this is damaged or faulty then it is likely the bike will not work - however it is unusual for this to fail by itself. There is a rubber seal on the underside of the TCU and it could be that this was not seated...
H @Jeb - I'll outline the rider-facing changes below, but the simple answer is that this was quite a minor update and probably not worth specifically going back to the retailer for. I'd ask them to do it for you at the next annual/interval/suspension service perhaps?
General stability...
Sorry to hear @Egregor - suggest you have a look at these two posts earlier in this thread: -
Internal Power Cable Failure, Levo 2019 - EMTB Forums
Internal Power Cable Failure, Levo 2019 - EMTB Forums
If those don't help you, can you help to answer the following?
- When you say "a very small...
Hi @mariner - if you're the second (or later) owner of a Specialized or Roval product, you're eligible for a two-year warranty from the date of the original retail purchase. That includes our Turbo bikes and applies to all products sold after July 1, 2018 - just make sure you get the original...
Good question. The post you reference is outdated - as of today (16th July 2019) I can confirm you are running the latest production firmware (1A.B.0). 19B is the previous version.
Thanks and fair point, however the challenge today is that a connection via Mission Control isn't the same as a registration ("I paired with a bike" vs "I own this bike") - most of our retailers use Mission Control to set-up/test bikes for example. We're actively working on making that ownership...
Good qu. We'll post here at the very least whenever new FW is released - in time we hope this will be announced and deployed via Mission Control but for the moment any FW updates need to be installed by an authorised retailer.
@DTZ Expected behaviour from the MY2019 Levo battery is below (normal temperatures 0° - 50°C)
100%-16% SoC: 100% maximum power
15%-11% SoC: 75% maximum power
10%-6% SoC: 50% maximum power
5%-4% SoC: 25% maximum power
3%-1% SoC: No power to drive unit, although entire system will still be...
@Maastricht I believe there will be a firmware update to our TCU at some point later this year, however I don't know that it has any planned improvements to BT connectivity. Saw your earlier comments about BT connection issues but we don't have any substantial feedback from riders that this is a...
Thanks @khorn - appreciate your honesty. Will try to address the points you raise - we spend time here to help customers and improve our products, so we'd be the first to admit we're not perfect. A good example of getting it wrong is when we shared information with riders on this forum way...
Thanks @khorn for the name check here. We've spoken to @All Mountain Coaching before and this is a shame to hear after previous issues he's had. @All Mountain Coaching I'll PM you.
@khorn - sorry to read your disappointment above. We do our best to be transparent with riders on this forum...
Hi @Sandy - 1.2e motors are eco-tuned, limited to 15amps and paired with smalled batteries to give better range on a lighter bike. If you have a 1.2e motor then your bike is performing to specification and you shouldn't worry.
@Mikerb - the Brose Drive S Mag motor has a new feature from Brose that they call 'Flex Power Mode', essentially power delivery is controlled according to pedal force (torque - as per our previous gen Levo bikes) and also now cadence. This is hardware related - it's unique to this new motor on...
Aha. It is possible that the retailer never updated your bike firmware, for a few months after Levo production started the default firmware didn't support shuttle mode. Retailers were told at launch and reminded to update bikes before handing over to riders but it is possible this didn't happen...
Activated via a slider in our Mission Control app (on the Tuning page). Note that this is only available for Levo 2019 FSR bikes and will not ever be available for earlier bikes.
