Hi @Jack66. Sorry to hear this - couple of thoughts that might help you.
Firstly, charge the battery up and leave it connected to the charger overnight. The last part of charging is when all of the individual cells in the battery individually balance so that they discharge at exactly the same...
Will send you a PM to see if there's anything else we can see from our end when you connected via Mission Control. The only other thing you can try is to check the Rosenberger (battery) connector plug to ensure that this is clean, the spring clips are not stuck, no metallic debris stuck to the...
Hi @rese079 - sorry to hear this. When you press the power button on the TCU does anything happen? What about if you disconnect the battery connector for 30 seconds or so and then try again?
If there is still no response, can you check the battery status LEDs when the bike is fully connected...
It is worth pointing out that the sensors pick up both torque and cadence - occasionally you may still be slightly pedaling even though you feel you've slowed significantly, so a one-off slightly delayed reaction from your motor is non-conclusive (i.e. less than a second - the cut-off is 200ms...
You can safely disconnect the TCU when the bike is off. Pull it gently and there are two inline connections. Holding the connectors (not the cables) pull straight apart, don't bend or twist. You can then take the TCU indoors and put it in a warm place, flap kept open. If a lot of water got in...
Sent you a PM, if you've clicked "Diagnose" in the app please PM me your serial number and we can check here to see if we can see what's going on.
Also if you look underneath to the battery LEDs please describe what they're doing - whilst everything is connected. If they are flashing in...
Sorry to hear - please pair with your bike using Mission Control whilst the error is showing, then click DIAGNOSE. (needs to be the latest version of Mission Control). There should be a corresponding error explanation and action for you. Any use?
Yes exactly @Mikerb - the standards don't always provide the most helpful real world scenarios for riders to follow.
@Kiwi in Wales IP56 is the correct rating, but in terms of interpreting those specifications (pressure washer at 3m?) the best real world advice is to use nothing more powerful...
Hi @congerball - those are floating end-caps and designed to have play in them. Once the axle is through and tight they are highly unlikely to be the source of noise. Far more likely is that it's coming from your fork.
Our bikes are IP56 rated, which means fine for a low pressure garden hose at a distance of 1m rinsing them down. Wet them first, then wash using sponge/brushes, rinse off, no problem. Leave everything connected during this process - don't remove batteries or connectors - and avoid spraying water...
Sorry for my late reply and for any confusion caused, my point was that until eBikes most riders pressure-washed their analogue bikes without concern. Riders and retailers had to adjust to the fact that this wasn't appropriate for bikes with motors/batteries etc - plus bike mechanics have had a...
My picture shows the washer the wrong way around - sorry about that. Yes, both faces are parallel but the smaller side touches the frame - so your bike IS built correctly from that perspective. It's just the bolt length you or your retailer needs to check.
Hi @ridehard. Sorry to hear that your first impressions of the Levo following an LBS brake upgrade haven't been good - such a shame. To answer your motor-bolt questions,
- the Chain-guide bolt itself should be just under 50mm long when you remove it (see picture below, the chain guide is broken...
Hi @Bryan Wells - a few thoughts on this one relating to the Levo 2019 with Brose 2.1 Smag motor: -
1) Which motor FW are you running? A few times we've found that retailers haven't checked for a FW update. Mission Control DIAGNOSE will show you, latest FW should be 6.1.0.
2) As another poster...
Acc response and Shuttle mode are consistent across the 3 support modes (Eco, Trail, Turbo), i.e. you cannot set different levels per support mode.
For the 2019 Levo I believe the first 2 months of production had firmware that didn't support Shuttle mode. When we launched them to retailers we...
Which bike are you riding? 2017/18 Levo (+all HT) do not use the acc. response settings, but 2019 and later bikes do. Ultimately if the current version of Mission Control shows you Acceleration Response when you connect to your bike, it should work just fine.
Hi @Kenevo Jim - it sounds like your battery needs a FW update. Ideally take your whole bike to the retailer and ask them to check for firmware updates.
