1994 Haynes bike book, two quid up the charity shop! Stuck on cantilever brakes? I'm your man.

I’m about to install one of these. The other position didn’t make sense anymore.
Top tube Kiox mount and a slight modification to the knock-block insert. It should clear-up the cockpit for other things.

…like this.

HEY…I’ve been told there is a moratorium on any upgrades for awhile since three of the kids are getting married this year. 🤦🏼. Gotta start saving.

@Zimmerframe , I recall you posted that you bought slick bar-ends that protect your outer fingers. I can’t find your post… it looked like turned-in short horns.

How are the bar-ends working for you?

I have longer horns but when I hit branches I have to muscle my handlebars straight. Admittedly not the best solution for my riding style. So, looking for alternatives.

They seem to work well so far. Can't find the original threads, but there's this one :

I had planned to make some video's of riding into tree without them and with them, but injuries at the time meant none of that was possible and I've not been inclined since :)

Just ordered a Kios kit for my Trek rail 7, how hard was it to install?
The fitting of the actual is really simple. The routing of the cabling to plug it into the motor is an atrocious job! Set some time aside and work through it methodically taking note of factory routing. Oh and while your there, unless you are running the blendr wired in lighting, purchase a Bosch blanking grommet and remove the wiring for the lights….it causes more trouble than it’s worth!! As I’ve found, to my cost!

Doesn't that rub paint off under the rubber? Swingarm moves...
300 miles covered with it on and no paint has rubbed off or any signs of hot spots. The is a weald spot in the middle that is raised slightly so the contact of the flap is limited to this area.
I've taken a side on shot so hopefully you see what I mean

Do you know that you need a government approval?? and that something happens while you are driving or parking there is no assurance that can cover your audacity?

I used a SeaSucker on my BMW 6 Series when lugging my Santa Cruz Bronson around the country with no problems at all and believe me them suction cups get a mighty hold…..
Mind you the the Bronson was half the weight of my Whyte E-150 RS..
