Why?Are you or the bike shop taking out the AirTag speaker before installation?
If it gets stolen, the AirTag will give audible alerts, so the thief will know its in the bike, and will take out. (Maybe destructively)Why?
If that thief owns a iPhone he/she will get notification anyway. That comes first. Not the audible alert. If it gets stolen, the AirTag will give audible alerts, so the thief will know its in the bike, and will take out. (Maybe destructively)
Yeah, they wont know where it is though! A full dismantle to find it, if hidden well.If that thief owns a iPhone he/she will get notification anyway. That comes first. Not the audible alert.
I have only been testing how robust it is on the trails and so far no movement. The only pain is taking on and off the case every time, although you could leave that case on. The cover is a pain as you can’t use the screen with it on and I want to zoom in and out to see trails near me.Interested to see how you get on with that.
I want to try some routes I don't know from Strava and just about to pull the plug on a Wahoo Bolt V2 and have been putting off using my mobile.

What are you using on the front?Got a schwalbe big Betty tyre for the rear (and a case of COVID from a recent ski trip)
I've been using maxxis dhr ii for a few years so I thought I'd try something else for a change.
They're pretty good, relatively good rolling speed, decent braking grip and seem pretty tough.
Think I prefer them to the dhr ii.
A schwalbe magic Mary currently, a decent tyre , but I think I prefer the maxxis shorty overall for the front in winter. There's not much in it but the shorty seems a bit grippier in mud. What are you using on the front?
