how annoying. yes I'll try it and see what happens. I did try this with an apple watch 'outdoor cycle' but perhaps it needs to be a third party app like Strava. Will see how I get on. I have an Apple Watch 6
Sorry If you are annoying about this issue. I'm trying to find a solution.
I'm investigating how it is easy to develop an app for Apple Watch in order to synchronize BLEvo with the heart rate of the watch.. But remember that this is not an issue of BLEvo, it is the Apple Watch that doesn't send the heart rate in real time.
If I will not able to find a solution or to develop the dedicated app for Apple Watch, I will remove the option from BLEvo.
Thanks for understanding..

aloha official BLEvo thread! it's been a while. i freakin' love my blevo on my black view bv6000! ok - here's my question for you all today: i just got a 1.3 motor for my 2017 levo and it feels like a dog! i've had to turn my assistance levels up and i'm still working way harder than with my surging, overheating 1.2. it does show peak power after my ride as 700 watts / the 1.2 was 650 watts. so it's putting out more power, at least at some point in the ride. is there a setting in blevo i should be looking for? i haven't used smart power for a long time. i just set my levels for the area where i'm riding.

hi, i don't mean that i am annoyed. i mean it must be annoying for you that it used to work and now doesn't. Sorry - lost in translation i guess. The work you're doing is amazing.

First of all it is better to solve the issue with BV6000 that is very good for bike and BLEvo..
I think there are some settings in the Android setup to avoid Bluetooth issue.
For iOS, your are showing the Map after ride, not the map during the ride that are Mapbox and not Google... Mapbox is a little better than Google map..
Ok, thanks for the answer. Here is the normal map of Blevo and the terrain map and Gaia as a compare:

This week the new BLEvo version 3.6.5 for iOS was released.
I found a bug that slowed down the responsiveness of the Smart Power a lot.
Now the answer is practically immediate.
Testers were surprised at how much more sensitive he became to the leg power impressed on the pedals.

Here are all the news:
- Accelerated responsiveness of the Smart Power
- Bugfix: secondary battery consumption calculation
- Bugfix: Autostart
- Bugfix: Smart Power configuration display in data summary
- Update to XCode 12.4

Download the update from the Apple Store.
Good fun.

Hello BLEvo friends.
I already said in a previous post that I am doing tests with different Smart Power configurations and for now everything is going very well.
But yesterday something did not suddently work. BLEvo did not detect the altitude, as it had been working until now. The horizontal coordinates worked fine. The track was created with no errors. But there were no altitudes, no ascents, no gradients, no data in the history. I attach the graph. It was a circular route with start and end at 125 m.
Before my ride tomorrow, I wanted to check if it worked today. The answer is that it doesn't work. I did a short known 4 km route, from 6 m to 195 m. When starting the tour, the altitude is displayed at 166 m and it is shown so all the time, while another GPS device indicated the altitude correctly.
I have checked the GPS of my mobile and I have reset it. I do not know what else to do.
I hope Paolo helps me.

I saw that now the GPS altitudine is not working correctly.
Now I'm trying to fix this issue, but it seems it comes from the google library..
In the meantime you could try the DEM functionality that offer to you a better elevation and ascend calculation.
Let me know.

Hi Paolo.
Yesterday I used the DEM maps and the problem persists. In fact, I had already tried DEM to check the difference in accuracy with the GPS data.
I did another test: I use BLEvo on my old Samsung with Android 8.1 and memory card, mounted on the handlebar. To make sure there wasn't a problem with the phone, I tested my other Android 10 phone yesterday. And the same thing happens. I can add that everything worked fine until my ride on February 16. On February 18 it started working badly. Something happened on the 17th!
Attached is a screenshot that I managed to take yesterday during the tour and the graphics for BLEvo and Strava.

Hi Paolo
After doing several tests with the altitudes, I realized two things:
1. I thought that talking about HGT / DEM files meant that you could use either format, but BLEvo only works with HGT.
2. Although I have the OpenAndroMaps maps in the BLEvo / MAPS folder on the memory card, the HGT files must be in the BLEvo / DEM folder in the main memory of the phone.
Is it so?

I'm having an issue getting smart power working with my Kenevo 2021.
Blevo is connected to the Bike and Motor, but I'm not getting any data about my rpm, rider power or motor power. When riding, the Blevo display shows all 3 values as 0
Anyone else come across this?

Hi Paolo,

Do you know what is really measured with sensors on the Levo SL motor ?!

1. Input current of the power line of course.
2. Rider Power or is it deducted from other datas?!
3. Mechanical power of the motor or is it deducted from other datas?!
4. Total power (Rider + Motor) or is it deducted from other datas?!

Of course if anyone else knows the answer, please kindly respond.

Have a Nice Day.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

Does the Blevo app really not support the HR monitor from a Garmin Fenix watch? Sad as I bought one just for this
You should activate the virtual RUN in the Garmin watch to see the heart rate like a standard bluetooth HRM..

HGT is the file format for DEM..
Yes, you can use the folder /BLEvo/DEM on the external SD to store the hgt file

It seems that BLEvo was not correctly connected to the bike.. In this case it is better to restart the ride and be sure that the biker power and motor power and received correctly...

Sorry but I don't know what is really measured.. I used the value received from the bike.. I hope the values are what they say..
I receive:
- Biker Power
- Motor Power
- Voltage
- Current
- Battery Wh
- Battery %
- Cadence
- Speed

BLEvo does have a solid green indicator for GPS, Bike and Motor, but most of the time I don’t get power or cadence data. Sometimes in the middle of a ride I start getting the data for a few minutes, but in never lasts.

You can see power and cadence suddenly start, then stop, working from the Strava analysis.

There’s obviously an issue with the connection between the phone and the bike, and I have tried using different phones, iPhone and Android, removing the Bluetooth code from the phones, restarting the phones, making sure nothing else is connected to the phones, but nothing seems to work.

Is there something else I should try?

Heart rate zones- these seem correct for me for 220-age, so does it get age from specialised data?
Also when Smart HR and Smart power are activated how does it prioritise
sorry if these questions have been previously answered
after 4 months I am starting to find the app really useful, there is so much it can do

You have to set the Heart rate in the Smart HR configuration. If you use Smart HR connect to the Smart Power, when the heart is over the range, the legs power will decrease until the heart will come back in "safety" range..

Hello everybody. I have a question about smart power.
It is said that to use smart power in the bike setups you should use the BLEvo smart tab.

Example: I have set up 2 of my own configurations in smart power. To simplify the two which are also suggested in the manual, speak

10/80/100 and
15/30/60

Now you say yes that the name and the parameters in the bike setups and in smart power should be the same. So, for example, do I call the first setting smart 10/80/100 in both settings?

For example, if I want to switch to my second personal setting in smart power while I'm on the move (let's call it smart 15/30/60 for the sake of simplicity), then I have to save this name with the corresponding configuration in the bike setups and then also the mode change in bike setup?
Or another constellation: I want to save the battery and switch from 10/80/100 to (let's say) 10/60/80 while driving. Does it just work like that when I change the parameters in smart power or do the same parameters have to be saved in the bike setup mode?
That would mean that for every bike setup setting I would have to have the corresponding setting stored in smart power. And also that I have to adjust both modes accordingly if I change or change.

Unfortunately, I can't explain it better. I hope the questions are understandable (translated with google translator) lg bernhard
