This is mine with 720Wh battery before delivery 2 days ago. Linda said all already tested and have no problem. So I'm just hoping everything will be OK when arrive.

Oh wow! That's interesting...maybe she meant testing more 720Wh batteries? So, you got the good one then. 😁💪

Sounds like they just didn't make enough yet. That does sounds encouraging then!👍

I ordered mine Jan 2nd. When did you order?

Also, what size frame?

This is 15" size for small guy like me. On December I ordered CEF49 frame from Linda, and she didn't tell me that sensor cable and magnet is different from Dengfu or Light Carbon, it has the same sensor cable as CEF50. So I pushed her to send the right sensor together with CEF50.

the more I see pictures of the frame, the more I think a coil shock won't fit...

I’ll try fitting a coil shock as soon as it arrives. Will try the following shocks

Rs super deluxe ultimate air 210x55
Rs super deluxe ultimate coil 210x55
Suntour triar 3cr 210x50

I dont want to overstroke it so probably will end using the triair @ 210x50 or max 210x52.5 so I can swap between mullet and full 29er without touching the shock

If I do indeed receive my order soon...the first thing I'm going to do is test the bottom out limits of my MegNeg and frame with this small Superman stunt demonstrated by Sam Reynolds at Red Bull Rampage a few years ago!😉

Just kidding April Fool's day humor.😁

I was just comparing picture of CEF50 frame to the LCE930.

LCE930 from ligthcarbon has a seat stay bridge, where CEF50 doesn't. I am on the ligter side 73kg/182cm(161lbs/6ft) and I know that it is considered a ligth weigth frame, but it is still 160/150mm frame, so it should be plenty stiff, rigth? What are your thougts on that? :)

I just don't want it braking on me :D

For frame integrity comparison: The 2023 Orbea Wild FS M-LTD full-powered is a full race Enduro bike with not battery cuts out. They claim 51% stiffer while shaving off 900 grams.

It's large frame carbon weight is 2600 g +/-, similar to a large CEF50 frame. So, not saying same quality control as Orbea but in theory the CEF50 engineering should be Ok.🤞

But it's has a 3 yr warranty with extended warranty of $80/yr.

Also, depends on riding style...is you're a dirt jumper doing a superman like Sam Reynolds at Ramage it might not be the bike, but depends on skill set. I intend to ride tougher chunky trails and hit baby bumps and small drops and am heavy...so we'll see.💪

I found this in a review of the M820:
"Another new feature of the M820 is a boost mode called “Rocky”. This gives you a little extra power for a few seconds. Once you have activated it, a special Rocky symbol appears on the ebike’s display. It can be activated by a single or double click on the plus sign of the respective control unit or display."

Yep. 💯 it's the superburst 95Nm peak mode. I'm hearing no long 4sec ramp up like Fazua60 (kinda sucked when I rode it) and varied only 6-12 seconds depending on how hot the motor was running.🫣

I'm hearing instant up burst up to 30 secs for the m820-75. If so, this is a major feature to standout among the others.🤘

If it's anything like Nitro of Siryon's M820-60....should be nice!

I rreally like this too. I hate having to turn a corner and hit a vertical wall and try to change the mode in an instant. This way I can leave the mode in eco and just hit the nitro for help up a steep climb then back to normal.

BTW if anyone is interested I have some really step climbs I need to know if I can do. Sustained for 5 miles. Grin at www.ebike.ca under tools menu has this really helpful simulator. You can put in a real google route from point a to b, like over a high pass. Then put in your combined weight with the bike and gear, then how many watts you want to add to the motor etc etc and it will calculate the motor power required. It will show you the elevation graph of the trip and how much battery power was required then shows you the peak motor power used at any spot on the route.
Even tho it does not have our motor in the list I choose the BBSHD which still allows me to see how much power is required to climb the route. Only down site is google has to have the road/trail you want to use in their maps.

When we are on the subject of how hard can you push specific frame, I just hapen to stumble upon this video:

I googled the frame weigth and it is cca 1.8kg XC bike, (without seat stay bridge :D) , and it looks like it hanging on like a champ. :)

I took a screenshot of a video Linda sent me.. looks like a big problem. This is a coil shock and it looks like the bottom isn’t able to fit at all.

What has me worried is if an air shock fully compressed, it would also hit the frame at that point.

Yipes! That's tight! Any more pics that you can show the whole setup!

Wish I could just upload the video.. she is pretty zoomed in the entire time but the picture above is the bottom part of the frame.. the upper portion of the frame with the linkage actually fits.

Alright, thanks for sending me the full video. I'll confirm vid with Linda. But your pic is clear enough...too tight for coil tolerance!🫣

But it looks a coil is not going work on CEF50. Neither is my fat air can. 😜

Well, the next best option for a M820 frame with a coil is the LCE930 still in development. 🤙

LC Jim does a good job, so might be worth the wait. I can't however.

I think I'm out. I needed the coil/big air can option and the big 720 Wh battery being a heavier dude.

I'm going back to full-powered while I still have a chance to purchase the frame.

Good luck peeps! The CEF50 looks pretty sweet and I look forward to seeing some mean looking steeds out there! Also, some good reviews on the exciting M820-75 big, light-weight, mid-powered motor.✌️

That picture is upside down from left side. Isn't your aircan at the top sitting towards the middle of the frame triangle?
