Especially since there are no retailers in the US, except maybe Luna.
Luna with the right person...but some of their techs...let's just say "god complexes".😵‍💫

just noticed my Bafang Go+ Android app received an update today (looks like last update was months ago). Someone go test it! There also seems to be an opt in for a beta version. Maybe this is what will make it work?🤞

Thanks @TCFlowClyde this gives me hope of a nice ride OOTB.

Is the speed limited to region by default? what speed limit was it set to OOTB? I wonder who sets the speed limit?
Mine was preset to 28 mph. Wheel size 27". I assume North America region. It should be set by the SZZS team, the seller of the motor kit.🤔

For me it's very useful. Can setup every level assist parameter with our need. Also can recalibrate sensor position, setup speed limit and wheel circumference.
Yes. Bafang should have an end-user login restricted to non-critical(non-brick-laying) settings like these above.
but of course if GO+ was working... sigh!

BTW a crude power meter exists in the DPC245. Others may have mentioned already but discovered that Watts units is an option in the DPC 245 just the other day...might yield a basic, metered comparison in each mode for those willing or even caring to tinker with optimal power modes. 🤔

Like I said prior, factory settings seem discreetly incremental and progressive.

👍 Overall, the watt-meter-mode is not quite like a fancy power pedal meter, but it's something useful to compare power output.

Have you tried it out yet? What kind output is it giving you?

No...I just scrolled on it by accident two days ago. It's got a lot of functions (9 total) in the power button:
✅Trip,
✅ODO,
✅Ave speed,
✅Max speed,
✅Est. range,
✅ Calories,
✅Time,
✅ Cadence,
✅ Watts.

Preoccupied unfortunately. Been dialing in my fork/shock setup combo, and several bad new tires.🤬

No worries suspension is the the thing that takes me the longest, weeks to work out. So I understand that.

I had a conversation with Chili Shen recently about DPC245 / BT5.0 / BT5.1 and Bafang GO+ App. She told me You need the Bafang IOT Box to connect to the App. No possibility to use the Display only.
