Ohlins ttx22m is doing a great job at keeping my levo comfy, secure, and planted. No overthinking needed on adjustments, once u got the right spring. I have an ext on my other bike (rise) but I prefer the ohlins.
I have ohlins TTX22 on my Levo SL and I also vote for it. Super easy to setup and if you go for a sprindex coil you can easily adjust the SAG % as you need.

what is a good coil shock for the Levo Gen 3. I know the EXT is killer but it’s also £1.5k. What are the other decent option that won’t break the bank
I got the Bomber CR on sale for pretty cheap as a backup for my EXT when I send it out for service annually. I honestly cannot feel that much difference. I'm not a crazy hard hitting rider bottoming out the shock or anything like that but it works perfectly fine for what I do. I too have the long shock kit.

Cool, I was looking at the bomber not sure if I’d like a coil shock so it be good to get and try.

Did you experience some loss of power ? sometimes when I ride, mainly climbs (that's why I have an ebike :) ), I have a feeling that Levo doesn't give me full power (I'm on >60% assistance, so basically like turbo). Sometimes feels ok, and sometimes feels like it gives me only half or 2/3 of power. I don't remember that feeling on a new bike.

Is this sudden like it feels like a loose connection or just in general as you climb?
Any chance you can post a screenshot of your app settings for your different riding modes? I have a feeling it might be in there that you find your answer.

no, not complete power loss (like cable failure), as i said, sometimes i can feel like it gives me 50-70% of power, instead of 100%.
what setting do you want to see ? I ride on standard 70/100 turbo. and response around 50-70% (don't remember)

It's been a while since I've played with my settings but I remember doing a deep dive on trying to understand what all of the different settings meant and what I understand it to be is below. If you are saying that you ride in turbo and do not set to 100% on the two levels below you are limiting what you get from the motor. The response can be set the way you have it so you don't shoot the bike out from underneath you when you start from a stop. When I ride in turbo, I have this set at 100/100 for both knowing that if I hit that mode I am getting all she's got. Typically I ride in trail mode where I want 60% and maybe 70% respectively. I hope I'm understanding your issue and not mansplaining the settings to a seasoned turbo owner. I didn't get this at first but when I set it up based on some pro riders recomendations, I had a lot more fun with full on power for hills. The climbs became almost as fun as the decents.

  • Support
The amount of motor assistance provided in relation to how hard you pedal. Higher support levels provide more motor power, but drain the battery faster.
  • Peak power
The maximum amount of power the motor can deliver in each mode. Lower peak power settings extend the range of the bike.

I think I understand the settings quite well, and as I said, I didn't have that feeling (limited power) at the beginning.
assistance is set to 70/100 (i always use similar turbo setting), which means motor should give me full power If i produce more than ~215W which is easily doable for me.
I'm asking if anyone experienced similar feeling and if it's a motor/sensor problem maybe (power/torque sensor for example).
and I don't think it overheats, as sometimes the feeling starts at the beginning of a climb.

I experienced the same at turbo after ca 10 min of uphill. Power decrease comes gradually and it is hard to keep with the group. For sure it is not from overheat, i am light. Funny, the motor power output in mastermind says-all is fine.

Yep I get the same. Whenever I'm constantly in turbo or even trail with sustained hard riding it feels like the motor drops 30-40% power, if I get on a flat or downhill and stop pedalling hard for a little bit day 30-60 seconds the power comes back. I reckon it's most likely thermal management rather than a dodgy motor. Mine has done it since I got it 2.5yrs ago

Yup my levo it was been doing it for years. Official name for it is "deregulation" which came with firmware updates to try to prevent motor failures. It seems to be doing that with my 2022 gen 3 levo along with the new stronger Kevlar belt. Hopefully the new motor coming on the 2025 levo that does not have a belt to break will not suffer from this. Presently all the motors deregulate at some point on hot days with severe climbs except for the new Amflow DJI apparently.
Unfortunately on our 4-6 hr top of the mountain rides where there are multiple severe climbs that go on for 15-20 minutes, it kicks in relatively early with some short/extreme ups (mad focus on keeping RPMs up, out of the saddle and nose on stem to keep the front down on bedrock or loose) and you have to suffer through the rest of the climb without full power. Sometimes greater assist returns if I can speed up the RPMs enough to coast for a second to let the motor assistance pause slightly and then when I resume pedalling there is greater but not 100% assist again. Try that and see if it helps- you just have to pause for a second until motor whine dies off and then start pedalling again before you stall out.

I’ve tried two different motors and on both the power delivery is all over the place when you feel like the bike pulls how it should it feels like you’ve pushed a boost button

I have a Levo Gen2 with a upgraded Motor and I am having the same issue. My thought was that there could be a problem with the torque sensor. I measured the rider power on the Levo compared to Power Meter Pedals and it shows clearly that the rider power readings of the Levo are quite a bit off compared to the pedals.

My mate compared his Kenevo g2 (1y old, so the same motor I guess, just different tuning? 2.1 vs 2.2, not sure about softweare updates) to my Levo today and he clearly felt those power delivery "fluctuations" :/
But I think I didn't feel that when the bike was new :/ (2y ago)
