Shenzhen Zhaosheng Carbon CEF50 lightweight using Bafang M820 motor (Specifications Thread)

The shock mounting bolts are very soft and imbus tolerances with them not very strict. Be very careful with them, too much threadlocker or too strong one is as bad as no threadlocker - you might easily snap the bolt.

The top (rocker-side) mounting bolt dimensions are in the pic.

Unfortunately Jean recalled pic of bottom bolt before I was able to save it, but what I remember is:

• nut OD is 8mm (M8) just like the top one
• nut length is 32,5mm
• bolt head OD is 15,8mm
• head length is 3mm
• screw is very likely M6 just like the top one

These bolts are custom made for SZZT which somehow explains their poor quality. Probably we could choose higher grade material if they were off the shelf/standardized ones instead of carved from a piece of soap.

I had doing the same, but not as large, only 2 mm.

I just got something like these from ebay. I used the 2mm
"Spacer Chainring Bolts Washer Bicycle Chainring Bolts Gasket Screws Washer"

don't forget these. I think I used the Double Chainring.
"5 PCS Litepro AL7075 Single/Double/Triple MTB Road Bike Chainring Bolts Screws"

I already had the material at home recovered from old bikes, in any case the height of the spacer used is 7mm.

Wow! you needed 7mm spacers? Assuming Bafang oem chainline is 55mm (I have no idea about this), you now running 48mm chainline? Is that correct?
TBH, I just spaced mine out until it looked ok (eyeball method) without going too extreme.

I wanted to move the crown inwards as much as possible as I mainly use the largest pinions which are also the most delicate as they are made of aluminium.
I'm not saying it's the best solution for everyone, probably the most valid for my use.

Yep, i totally understand. I had a similar problem with my chainline to the big cog

This is what I posted many pages ago. It's with 27.5" wheelset. So I think just add around 20mm to the measurment for 29"

Since then, I recently built a 29" front wheel for her without telling her. So it's currently running mullet.
During a ride, I asked her "how's the bike?" She didn't notice any difference and didn't complain (That's a good thing, I think)

My wife is running a small with 27.5 front and rear, the bike is a bit small, 29 or mullet would be good. But she’s an absolute beginner so a smaller bike is ok.
I’ve installed a 150mm dropper but I think a 100 or 125 would be better

The mullet runs well. I lowered the front travel to 150mm (it was 160mm with 27.5") so it didn't slack out too much.
Yes, try 29" first. See if it's comfortable for her. I think a 125mm dropper would be suitable.

I was curious about the 150mm up front. I'm waiting for my size M with 29 wheels. My ride is flatter and a more agile bike for curves would be interesting. My current bike is XC.

I've seen those frames, they are really interesting, the lce930 or the lce971 but no xl sizes from them and measuring 196 size L is way too small...

I bought from 4leaf. It took a long time to arrive. I placed the order in February and it arrived in July. I didn't have a tracking number and the waiting time was agonizing. Otherwise, everything went very well with Firon Woo, who helped me and customized the bike to my needs and was always attentive to my emails.
