I am so dying to see this. I really would like to see a lighter fat bike build, without the M620. Still haven't given up hope on that one.
A lighter motor and smaller battery should easily shave off 5kg of the current fat bike builds.
now have the fat EMTB carbon frame fit for M510/M560 and battery 840wh, but no frame fit for small battery

Hi Karo. Nice. I realized my lc930 with 600wh as well. I designed special 3d printed cell holder for that . Could be very tight with 3x13 ;) but can fit I guess . I have 3x10 21700
I reached 18,6kg. Are you satisfied with the m820 regarding „power reaction/ startup angle“ . My impression is that it is not as quick as my m510 fc2 . I tuned it with besstpro to minimum startup angle but still not fully satisfied 🥲

Nice battery design. I can't see any difference to the M 510 in terms of power reaktion. However, I also have the 43V version.

Sorry haven’t made more photos of the finished battery. I used special high voltage heat shrink to protect the battery and it sits very tight in the frame without any movement. Additionally I locked it with plastic screws through the bottle holder threads

The M 820 is currently only available in 36V and 43V versions. My motor is originally a 36V which my salesman flashed for me with the 43v software on request. I only use the 48V battery to get a little more power out of the motor.

Ahh, I see, I am told there is now a 48v firmware...

L'ho visto anch'io, ma probabilmente è per i modelli E-road.
Pubblica nel thread 'Bafang m820' due firmware...uno e-rod e uno e-mtb...

Hi. How do you glue the cells? (what is the name of the drug?) is the glue flexible or hard? and how tightly does the glue stick to the cell? Greetings
I used Wurth polymer glue, it can take heat up to +90 degrees celsius. I just put glue in between and checked the angle with model i made on paper. It sticks very well, but can surely be cut if needed, it stays flexible. It needs to be flexible not to brake from vibrations.
I guess you can use any heat resistant glue that stays flexible.

Thanks for the info. In the meantime, I bought and used Loctite 5970, which has excellent adhesion and, according to the safety data sheet, is resistant to vibrations, and fortunately I am already finishing the construction of the package :)

Oh, sorry for late answer! That looks good, very similar to what I did. I actually ordered new cells last week. I will build a ~500Wh battery from 18650 cells and a small extender.
