I found 77x73x1000 mm on Amazon Germany. Price is 320€, quite expensive. Would 1000mm be enough to build 2 cases?
Yes. I don't see the point of making a case. The battery is quite firmly assembled. I think an aluminum rod and a good adhesive tape are enough. It is also possible to fix the battery in the frame with mounting foam. I'll try to do it.

The 930 geo states BB height is at 335 only. This means at 160/150 mm travel, the BB height fully compressed is at appr. 180mm only, so ground clearance with 165 mm crank is 15mm only. The CEF50 BB height is 360.
By checking the geo of the 930 again, I found a mistake in the geo logic: BB drop is given at 30mm, the BB hight at 335mm. The diameter of a 29 x 2.6 wheel is appr. 760mm. This means, the radius is 380mm. BB drop of 30mm would result in a BB hight of 380-30= 350mm, not 335mm. Either they assumed a very small tire, or they just didn’t do the math correctly.
That is strange, this is why comparing the drop is always better, it is also easy to check from drawing. According to the drawing 30mm drop seems accurate. A cef50 with mullet setup has lower bb then lce930.

Therefore I would go with a 216 mm damper with mullet wheels and finetune with 2mm offset bushings..

A very good 720W battery. I don't understand how you can drive 360W. An electric bike with a 360W battery is not a very good solution for good rides.

Ladies and gentlemen,

I am proud to announce my V1.0 pre-shakedown build of the long awaited CEF50 in XL. Please find for your viewing pleasure the raw shots of what is now my indoor bike build center. A little about the build and the intention. The proposed challenge; is it possible to build quality, agro trail/enduro 50+nm eMTB carbon build for ~3K USD. To answer, yes I think it is. The bike you see below is 47.5LBS for wet weight assegai's front and rear, with kush core, Deore drive train and brakes including ICE tech rotors. The HA is 63.5 with 29er, and mullet is 63.0.

Additionally I am experimenting with how the 180 rotors perform with decent TRP pads, up against my thicker and larger 200+ rotors over time on typical trails I ride. My theory is that in 95% of the cases the heat issues from smaller rotors won't be as noticeable if paired with a good bedding in the beginning.

I do still have questions about how to modify the profiles on the Befang 820 so any guidance there is more than welcomed. Otherwise I am very happy with this build so far. To be added, frame protection, grease all picot touch points and loctite. I want to get through an initial shack down first.

Has anyone experimented with a 29er as well as a mullet set up with this frame? Im not sure what way to go. I'm going to be running 170mm fork, Im coming from a 27.5 bike so I'm leaning towards mullet but dont want to change the Geo that much.
