Everyone seems to say it's trash. I ordered a Maxle and will be using that. I guess it's worth at least trying though. The different spec is probably for non-UDH frames. The one I have is 174mm long and 1.5 pitch, but it looks identical otherwise, meaning it's probably from the same OEM and of the same quality.
I couldn't find that length in a Maxle in 1.0 thread pitch.
Me neither, I ordered the 171 assuming it would be fine, especially since Dengfu puts a washer/spacer on their 174. I didn’t realize the UDH one would be 3mm longer at 177 though, so we’ll see how that works out… Mine may or may not work.
Can you weigh the battery cover and mount? I was sent photos, I think that the frame without fastening and this heavy lid will weigh 3.3 kg. I have a light battery in a carbon case. I'd rather make a new lightweight battery cover. I also want to buy this frame for the m510, but if it weighs no more than 3.3 kg, like the Marghor

Just pushed 2000km on mine, while I like the frame there are a few issues, the battery does not fit perfectly, bounces around. You'll need to foam wrap it and make a rubber boot for it to sit on if it's anything like mine.

I agree, that height is in the middle of L sizing. I actually didn’t even know they had the E82 available in XL yet to be honest, maybe they just released it recently.you run an xl frame and are 173 ? you choose the wrong size
Yes the dropper post is 40mm+ too long in most of the E82 sizes. Did you find any quick and easy ways to cut it down? I'm looking to do the same myself. Another friend did it with too many hours of hand sanding/grinding.
20.6kg is really light! What size battery are you running and what tires? Also, how did you get the Fox 38 to run 200mm?

Go for it! Not hard but measure 3 times cut once! Dremel works but you will need to fashion a place for the display screw to be mounted. I used some ABS plastic to fashion a bracket and heated up a brass nut insert and melted into the ABS. Then epoxied the bracket to the underside of the display hole. That's the part that takes the longest. One tip is to cut the hole a bit smaller and slowly using a grinding bit on the dremel, make the hole exact to the display underside. You can get ABS plastic from home depot or just grab some plumbing ABS pipes, cut it and use a lighter/heat gun to flatten it. Use that to make the bracket. Brass nut inserts can be found on Amazon or home depot as well. Hope that's somewhat clear.
I think the weak spot is between the key hole and the battery cover. Seems there have been some failures there. I got rid of the battery mounts and used the holes on the underside to solidly mount the battery instead. I then filled in the key hole with layers of carbon. If you don't work with carbon it would be challenging to reinforce the top tube display cut out area with any reliable strength.
Since I also own a CEF50, I used a spare 36v 15A carbon battery, and instead of using the Dengfu original battery holder, secured it in place with urethane. The FOX 38 and 29 damper cartridge stroke is 217mm. I used the air shaft from a FOX 40, cutting it to the original 180 + 15mm. The original two lower case bushes on each side bend, so an extra one was added. I chose titanium spokes and a lifetime warranty carbon rim, and did not use tire inserts, which also contributes to the weight reduction.
