Looks good, is that the matte finish? Wish I didn't let them talk me out of matte. Did you have to specify you wanted UDH? I had quite the disaster with that....
That’s right, the matte white. I couldn’t decide on a more creative colour so this will work.

I simply ordered off their webpage. I did make sure via email that they were sending what was described.

lol, I just ordered off their Alibaba listing for it, on a listing that specifically says UDH in the description, and they sent me a non-UDH frame and blamed me for not specifying I wanted UDH. They told me the other one will always be the default unless you specifically ask for UDH, and UDH is “not very popular right now” lol.

Yeah the sensor is what I’m struggling to find, I wonder if Bafang discontinued it or something, none of the usual places show it for sale at all. Can’t even find a part number.
Ask chilli Shen, my friend just received engine with this magnet and sensor.

Next question. Is this the problematic axle then? I thought I read elsewhere that it was a different spec. View attachment 148942
Everyone seems to say it's trash. I ordered a Maxle and will be using that. I guess it's worth at least trying though. The different spec is probably for non-UDH frames. The one I have is 174mm long and 1.5 pitch, but it looks identical otherwise, meaning it's probably from the same OEM and of the same quality.

I couldn't find that length in a Maxle in 1.0 thread pitch.

I ordered one from the Robert Axle Project instead.

Me neither, I ordered the 171 assuming it would be fine, especially since Dengfu puts a washer/spacer on their 174. I didn’t realize the UDH one would be 3mm longer at 177 though, so we’ll see how that works out… Mine may or may not work.

The thread pitch was less relevant to me because I have the t-type transmission so it’ll be bolting directly into that anyway. But I assume it’s the same thread regardless, not sure.

Fresh off the truck. Now the tricky part.

Appears to be as described with UDH, Headtube cable routing. Few bits to amass yet and the battery is close behind.

Frame weight with cables and battery hardware was as mentioned in another post. ~4.1kgs

Can you weigh the battery cover and mount? I was sent photos, I think that the frame without fastening and this heavy lid will weigh 3.3 kg. I have a light battery in a carbon case. I'd rather make a new lightweight battery cover. I also want to buy this frame for the m510, but if it weighs no more than 3.3 kg, like the Marghor

i measured the e10 retainer with both locks (upper and lower) and cables 3 weeks ago. maybe not same maybe same but it came to a whopping 570gr including wiring harness that is attached.

i build a ' lightweight' e10 last month with fixed battery. total weight was 23kg with coil shock, dh tires and 720wh.
my own e10 build without lightweight battery was almost 26kg, so there is some savings to be made

I'd be very interested to see how you got the battery mounted in there securely without the stock hardware. Any pics?

Saving 500g is nothing to sneeze at.

the battery has 2 longer bolts on the top mount that lock the battery to the frame in the old bolt holes from the top lock.

also the battery cover is pressing on top of the battery. all fits very tightly and there is no play as the cover pushes the battery tight.

i got this frame second hand from an other member and he made the battery and everything. i was skeptical but it fitted very nicely and doesnt rattle while descending down the trails

the battery (720wh) was 3.3kg and also saved weight by using no locks + wiring

it is connected with xt60 and diy charging wiring.

Looks well done. 👍🏻

For those looking for a better rear axle, the 180mm SRAM Maxle worked perfect on my UDH frame. 12x148, 180mm 1.0 pitch is what you want on the UDH triangle. I think the 174 would probably grab the threads but not have much overlap. 177 or so would probably be ideal, but there was still enough room to fit the 180 before the threads bottomed out.
