It's a do or die: Either you look shit (without mudguard) or you AND your bike looks shit (with mudguard).
Protip: Take the fancy instapictures before installing the mudguard.
I've been now riding couple of times with the 45NRTH Cobrafist. The weather has been something like:
Temperature, -8 ℃
Humidity 87%
Feels like -13 ℃
Wind Speed 13.1 km/h
and I could ride with quite light FOX Ranger Fire gloves totally ok. Maybe even a bit too warm?
Sounds a bit too sophisticated. If they would be that clever I guess they would be doing something more rewarding like robbing banks. At least I would because the bike is robbing me every day.
My E13 34t steel chainring went bad much faster than the SRAM 34t steel chainring. I can't say if it's the same in every case because there's so many variable but I will stay in cheap SRAM direct mount chainrings or do the spider + 104BCD.

maybe have a look at your frame and measure if there's room and make world's first retrofit for the CX Gen4 or why not upgrade the existing system to dual battery if...
800 euros for new Bosch CX Gen 4 motor is doable, but 1700 euros for FOX 36 Float Grip2 Factory 29" is horrendously expensive or is it? The other you really need but most parts and "mandatory" upgrades you just want but maybe not need.
Are we sure that the 100% capacity is the technical maximum capacity of the battery? Would be a little surprising if the manufacturers wouldn't had thought this.
....aaaaand I guess the motor bracket bolts are also torx PLUS

I think my speed sensor might be coming to it's end. LBS didn't have the Trek's own speed sensor. I wonder would it be possible to modify Bosch OEM sensor to replace Trek's own sensor. What do you think?

Correcto. It was actually initial option to "upgrade" my current Rail but there's not much things that would change my riding dramatically and the new Bosch displays, software and ecosystem seem to be a little shite. Hopefully the Rail will get less beating when the other bike has to ride all...
I think suspension works quite well or I haven't noticed that it would have been an issue. I use Silkolene RSF 2.5 oil in my Cane Creek Helm coil fork and it seems to work well enough. Rearshock is OEM Rockshox cheap airshock.
Just bought the Cobrafists so maybe I'll report back something here...
The 45NRTH Cobrafist looks promising for my purposes based on internet surfing.

I agree with this. I've serviced my Rail 5 post approx. 4 times fully during the last 2 years. Most of the problems are solved by this. In winter time the mud and water will freeze and the mechanism will stop working in the bottom of the post.
Changing to Aliexpress dropper remote was also a...
