Anyone has any experience on good quality barmitts or pogies or whatever one calls them?

It's getting a little too cold outside for riding (-19'C) and my previous experience using barmitts with motorcycles has been good.

The 45NRTH Cobrafist looks promising for my purposes based on internet surfing.

I think suspension works quite well or I haven't noticed that it would have been an issue. I use Silkolene RSF 2.5 oil in my Cane Creek Helm coil fork and it seems to work well enough. Rearshock is OEM Rockshox cheap airshock.

Just bought the Cobrafists so maybe I'll report back something here. I'm quite sure they are warm but I'm interested to see how they work in trail riding. I ride a little some gravelstyle trips and for that they must be decent.

I use basic/std pogies. (*southish uk so down to maybe -3’c, maybe slightly more with windchill)

I find them and medium warm gloves notably warmer than just my proper fox or sealskin winter gloves (and they help in the rain) and as I can wear thinner gloves find controls a bit easier to work, no real issues with getting hands in and out, and they’re quite handy in brambly city as it’s more protection.

I use the Draugenklaw on my fattie - all the way down to -30C or more. Down to about -15 I just use thin full finger summer type gloves. Below that temp I use Fox Ranger Fire gloves and they're more than warm enough for me.

I've been now riding couple of times with the 45NRTH Cobrafist. The weather has been something like:
Temperature, -8 ℃
Humidity 87%
Feels like -13 ℃
Wind Speed 13.1 km/h

and I could ride with quite light FOX Ranger Fire gloves totally ok. Maybe even a bit too warm?

I use them all year round on my motorcycle with heated grips, never really considered them on my mtb, but I can see the reason why you considered them.
