Well... one might need a pair of big balls, copious amounts of cornering and jumping skill, and a dash of pro-level speed and flow.
Not saying it can't be done... but I don't think there's many of us here than can pass Gary... even if he just woke up with a hang over and then snapped his chain...
Yes, there's always that... and tis always a good idea to give each other the benefit of the doubt. Who knows, maybe he was checking to see if my bike was a stolen bike that he was on the look out for.
Although... if I came right up close to you, while studying your bike intently as if to spot...
Yep, snobbery and elitism can also occur within the same sub-genre... even amongst fellow EEB riders.
During the Christmas break, my family and I went on a short beach holiday. We also took our bikes to search for places to ride and discover. Next morning we decided it was easier to cycle to a...
So... there’s a bunch of guys who think they’re better than a bunch of guys who think they’re better than the previous bunch of guys who think that they really are better than them? ? ? ?
I walked inside a “big store” outdoor sports shop just recently to have a look at the latest bike models just released. I was shocked to see some analog mountain bikes that are more expensive than pretty decent electric enduro bikes. I didn’t pay close attention to the exact component specs but...
Decided to ride a G2 trail loop called ‘Tourist Trap’... to keep it interesting I hit it at speed. It has a bit of everything, berms, drops and rises (no big jumps really) - but overall there’s no elevation gain so the interesting bits are interspersed between short pedally bursts for the most...
Haven’t noticed a big increase out in the trails where I ride (there was a fair number already to begin with) but I am noticing an explosion of new members in this here EMTBforum.
I’m also wondering if the average age of eBikers is getting younger as well? More and more of you lot are beginning...
Having watched your video review about the Bafang I was surprised about it being gutless. Hopefully the revised firmware gives it the oomph we’ve come to expect from Bafang.
I’ve only seen hawks as the largest birds of prey over here. But I’m no bird expert. Could’ve been an Albatross but I don’t think they go this far in land. The biggest bird NZ had was a Haast Eagle but I’m told those went extinct before European migration began.
I’m pretty sure it’s a hawk...
Same reason why a lot of people are about theirs.
I for one am not... but I can’t publish mine because my weight keeps changing. Besides it’s the wrong time of year to be forthright. ;)
Joking aside, it’s the market’s own doing. For years the first thing a customer does in a bike shop when...
Just wondering... and I know little about this... is there some kind of self-powered GPS locator gismo that could be planted in some random hidden spot in the bike so that the bike can be located immediately (before the thieves get a chance to disable it)?
I wondered why you keep mentioning a pterodactyl (had to look up what the heck it is, ha) so I went back to look at my photo. Ah, I've always assumed that bird was just a hawk, but come to think of it... scale wise, it looks pretty big doesn't it! Crumbs!
Oh well, Kingy can deal to...
Haha wrong movie dude. I was crossing that rope bridge to visit my mate King Kong on the other side. He moved to NZ a few years ago... when they shot a remake with Peter Jackson. He’s been here ever since, not far from Hobbiton actually... ?
Sorry to hear Topper... looking forward to seeing posts showing your new replacement bike soon!
Crazy coincidence that I was just watching this clip on YouTube yesterday... appears to be a growing trend in other countries too...?
