You have to be comfortable sitting and on pedals. Never look at a sticker. Never trust what you read. Each body is unique. Some manufacturers build long frames, i cannot buy those because of my short torso, no size will fit me. Maybe 1 brand is not for you.
I am no expert but it looks terrible. From memory the life expectancy is 30%. Hopefully our $$ got us a 100% battery if we bought new. At 70% not only we will start with less but the emptying will happen sooner. So for example if the first week i can do 50 km at 70% that battery may be emptied...
I will let you test the new motor let us know if it is ready and reliable. I would never say i am happy to be on my second motor early, i want to ride a decent HT and a Fat for snow
Generaly some small modifications are OK. I started with a + bike rims 27.5 40mm, it was on 3.0. Now i use a rear 2.8(last 2 months) the difference is not noticable and i love the roll and grip of the Rekon(not available in 3.0).
Also it came with 175 arms, again 2 months with 165 just love them...
From what i read Shimano and maybe others are not accurate. Thinking 2 lights out of 4 is 50 % is pure wishfull thinking. I think at about 70% is time to replace so you might not get that many recharges. Hopefully it last you many recharges and many years but in Quebec we are experimenting, too...
Well if one in 2,000 has a problem i will not blame them. You might feel lucky, i read about a rider with his fifth Shimano motor, happy they are free. I would be mad about the down time. Many Specialized got 2-4 motors way to fast. My Yamaha 2017 has 3,300 kms 0 problem like others 2016, 2017...
You are lucky here haibikes and Yamaha are hard to find(Quebec, Canada).
At least we have 32 kmh limit.
I read about Yamaha 2016, 2017 no problem bikes so the trying Specialized 2018, 2019 bad reports disqualify them from being called great bikes in my opinion. Reliability and range is what is...
I use a narrow bar on a + bike so i can ride in the rough and when we are not allways on manicured trails the last thing we like is a 50 T. If 42 T works why should i use more? It is like my 4.8 fatbike i use the sides instead of putting a foot down generaly i can pass or allow others riders to...
i am on 10 speeds, with 3,300 kms looks new, feel new.
Maybe you picked up a branch and debris shorten the life.
I check between cogs and clean with a knife if needed.
That is why i prefer 42T max.
Most people would never notice blindfolded.
They all know but my bar is great at 620 who cares if it is a la mode
i sure dont.
Try using 1 pedal each side of the frame it works for me.
I will test against others but i read about 2,000 miles an owner wrote the noise level was less. I have just reached that mileage. Like you by intuition i shift according to vibrations/sound. Mine is full Yamaha so different software. I can zap some fireroads/xcountry wide trails that i know or...
On websites(like i mentioned) you can read reviews from people who bought different wheels what they think, like, dislike often a rating 1-5 stars. I have the originals 40 on my bike, cant complain with 3,300 kms they fit well with 2.8 and 3.0
This is a big risk. If you ask a question on the internet all answers will come. Stop reading. First on a bike we set saddle height(that is a constant till death). Than foreward/backward. If you ride 2 hrs pain free it is likely correct. Than you do what you need with your cockpit, it all...
