Thanks a lot. I agree most Ebikes should offer a smaler ratio. Mine has 20 speeds, day 1 i switched from cassette 11-36 to 11-42. Without a car i pedal to the trails and back so it adds up.

Your weight may have an effect, some bad luck, the construction, many manufacturers offer 6 different variations of a model, 60/120 TPI, with or without protection, different compounds. A softer grippier coumpound last less generaly. Do you ride on asphalt? Many are good for a season 6-8 months...

I suggest you check that cassette regularly. If you pick up some branch some wood might get between the cogs and that might shorten his life. I use a knife to clean the mess between the cogs when needed. Also turn your chain with motor off, listen to make sure your chain is not rubbing like not...

Ya there are many factors, we can do our part. At 3,200 kms my cassette looks brand new. We all make mistakes, hopefully we learn.

In the past 2 years different well knowned and respected brands seems to have produced ** a bad batch** I had a tire loose the round form. My LBS had an expression for that but i forgot. They replaced it on the rim, it was less bad. About 2 weeks of riding and the weird feeling was gone.

Early this season i felt real slow but hurt 1 hand. After that it was about 2 weeks of fire roads allmost using only 1 hand. Our body heals but we need to give it a chance. Happy trails/roads.
