I think many people should wake up. Lots of Yamaha trouble free happy owners including me with my 2017 and lots of trouble 2018, 2019, 2020 Specialized bikes at the shop, not working and even the working ones have poor range due to that energy sucking belt. They are not ready. Yamaha has been...
I am kind of new to Ebikes but i consider that retail price exagerated. Under 25% discount is not a deal. For system Yamaha is tough to beat for his reliability, his range and it s instant power. We all have preferences if the fit is good, the decision is yours.
Recently i read some Ebike owner, my memory is not specific, wrote his battery had let s say 123 full refill cycles. May i see that info? How? Thanks. Our batteries are expected to be good for 500, 1,000 full refills?
Well i know in Quebec, Canada first we have 15% taxes on retails products so a 6,000$ bike i will pay 6,900$ buying it new, imagine i resell at 3,000$ i lost 3,900$. Over that the value of our money fluctuates so when possible i buy used bikes. Look at the attack from Trek and Specialized...
7 months ago i bought a new Yamaha 2017 PW 250 with 500Wh. We were on snow fat season so i used it the last 3 months. A bit over 2,600 kms(1,600 miles).
I am very pleased and would recommand it. Being an unsold bike i was lucky that last one was my size and the discount was great. It came out...
Time will tell if it will be with many bugs. If you ask me their tiny front was a no go for me. I like a 32 and their smallest was bigger counting the 2.5X factor. I was pointing out that many are not real reviews but disguised advertising.
You have to look at the components. Presently their website for Canada shows all the low/entry level price cutter. Just read many paid big price than switched suspension that is just crazy. Some of their low price have 400Wh, old generation motor. The Specialized is not the cheapest look around...
My Ebike came with 40 mm rims and 3.0 tires. I still have my front but traded my rear for Maxxis Rekon 2.8 and i love it. Without a car i pedal 12 kms to the trails, play in the wood for 1-3 hrs than pedal back those 12 kms. That tire rolls well and has enough grip for single tracks and fire...
I can agree with the first half of this post.
When you imply the manufacturer is not to blame, well we all know many places around the world selling bikes is a seasonal thing. LBS have a hard time keeping employees because of that and like you mentioned some dices are throwned. Any decent...
If you use or used in the past a Yamaha motor/system let everyone know what was your experience.
Pleased? Would you recommand it? What year? What bike manufacturer, Giant? Haibike? Other?
Noise level? Power? Range? Electric issue? Any issue? Things/item you wish were different? How?
We all know...
The 2.0 looks real good to me considering the price. I would buy it except it does not match my style of riding, too much suspension. Enduro is just not my style but if the builds attracts you try to see if the fit is good.
I have a Yamaha(Haibike) and the instant power is a wonderfull feature in my opinion and the range is great. I am in Canada and it seems the Shimano walk assist is not able here. I read even where available it is not that usefull and riders push up well i pedal up. The noise even on econo is...
