Got to hand it to Specialised. They certainly know how to dominate a market. Every time I jump on these forums and there's a post where someone just bought a Levo and I check where they come from they're based in the UK.

Not having a go just seriously asking if there is an abundance of bike shops and do they stock/supply other brands?

I consider myself quite lucky, my small home town only has 25,000 people and 4 bike shops and you could walk to them all in half an hour. One sells Santa Cruz, Yeti and Trek, another sells Scott and Giant, another sells Merida, Norco and Pivot and the other sells Specialised and Rocky Mountain. Spoilt for choice!

Apparently there are about 2.5K bike shops in the UK. On the trails I see lots of Trek, Haibike, a few KTMs, Giant, Meridas, Lapieres, Oranges, but its fair to say I probably see as many Levos and Kenevos as all the others put together. So in ebike terms Spesh sure dominate. Regular bikes not so much - I see a lot of high end Santa Cruz and Oranges locally, certainly more than Speshes.

Specialised have a huge fan base, they make a great product. When buying, I immediately thought Specialised and a Levo fitted the bill, however my local Specialised agent seems to be moving toward/pushing other brands instead and had no stock. I then tried a Giant and bought one from a dedicated Giant/Liv store in the nearest City as I like the bike and have confidence in the dealer support system should I need it. The value for money was also way better (if you can possibly call an EMTB value).

It’s the 3 series of the eBike world. If you want to go try an eBike it’s the most readily available.

I live within close proximity of 3 good dealers , one specialized in Melksham , cannondale in Devizes and Focus in Bradford on Avon , all good lbs

I went with the Levo , on ride , my intended use , and looks , plus I have known the guys in the shop in Melksham and know that they will do everything they can if problems occur

Locally I also see a fair few Haibikes around the Bath area

I see lots of Kenevos but then I’m close to the likes of Windhill BP and TF tuned

You are lucky here haibikes and Yamaha are hard to find(Quebec, Canada).
At least we have 32 kmh limit.
I read about Yamaha 2016, 2017 no problem bikes so the trying Specialized 2018, 2019 bad reports disqualify them from being called great bikes in my opinion. Reliability and range is what is important to me and i am glad to own a 2017 Yamaha Haibike.
