Wandering bite point can probably be fixed with a bleed. Works with my shimanos, as the pads wear down you can "reset" the lever bite point with a little bleed trick.
My bike is pretty well silent, i have sought out and fixed any rattles. I can reproduce that "clunk" noise by rotating the pedals back and forth, but i don't have any issues with a rattle when in motion. There is a light clunk that can be heard/felt as you first pedal and the motor engages and...
Most all the frame pivot bearings are sealed so there is no need to lubricate. The lower shock mount pivot needs to have the thru bolt regularly greased as this tends to wear if not cleaned and greased regularly.

Orange endurance has worked well for me, it's also lasted well even in our hot weather. Recently closed up a 5mm cut where I had pulled a sharp length of wood from the tyre.
the Mountain Tuning looks like a superior solution and would be my first choice as the "proper" method to derestrict via software.
There is also a PLANET3 option available. I am personally not a fan of speed boxes or mechanical devices that alter the signal from the rear wheel as this creates...
Go see Adam at Cycle in Surgery, fantastic guys to deal with and it's also a small local business to support which is a plus! They recently had a huge ebike demo day and it was a great day thanks to their whole team. I know a couple guys who just got new bikes through them and couldn't be happier
Where in Aus are you located?
Also i think Merida Australia is trying to offload all their demo fleet due to the demo days being cancelled, might be worth seeing if there is something that suits in your size?
limited edition is available with an alloy frame and better specs for the same money, might be worth looking at? E7000 drive unit is best avoided in my option. While E8000 is pretty punchy, it's no a powerhouse. I don't think i would want any less. It also seems the E7000 is less reliable and...
Nice one, just like mine. Love it, they're so much fun. Did 30km this morning on the local trails.
Make sure the 3 wires are securely plugged into the screen, if the mode selector switch isn't working it could be a loose wire.
