You can get Shimano pads with/without fins and resin/metal, there is 4 different combinations.
I have finned pads in M8000 and M8120 and haven't had any issues with rattle. Is the spring fitted?
A wet lube sure will attract dust to any component. I have exclusively used dry lube for about 8-10 years now with great success, first on motorcycles and now on the mtb also. The lube leaves a film which once dry there is little to no tackiness to attract dust.
ok thats good. one of the guys who fitted one to a Levo mentioned they found that the raised locating bits were on the wrong side for it to mesh and fitted it facing inwards. If you have gotten it to work than it shouldn't be a problem :)
These would appear to mount and run backwards on a Levo. Definitely fits a shimano motor correctly, maybe others as well. Just FYI to any potential buyer
Should, you're right. If it's maintained. That said i've seen plenty of posts from people claiming smashing through chains and cassettes in very short periods.
Agree to disagree on that one about the lube. Any metal/metal surface contact needs lubrication, or will result in increased wear...
I do it in the stand after i wash the bike and give the chain a quick clean. I can add a little bit at a time, run it through the cassette a few times, that way the cassette has a little lube on every tooth and i've checking it is shifting crisp. My cassette has 1000km+ on it and looks like new...
Sounds good to me. I am still at work, but can work from home without too much interruption. I think i will get out for a daily ride if/when i do end up at home :)
This. Pump my tyres up before a ride and set the pressure with my digital gauge. i throw my floor pump in the car so its there in the carpark if need be. In my hydration pack i have a co2 catridge+ inflator, topeak HV mini pump and a topeak digital gauge.
I am currently looking for a new floor...
The range is estimated based off current level of charge, power mode selected and data from recent usage. The range estimate is going to change based on the riding you have done in the last 5km or so.
From Merida website -
"That's the reason why the eONE-FORTY has different sizing compared to eONE-SIXTY. A frame with a 44cm seat tube length, for example, is a size L in the eONE-FORTY, but at the eONE-SIXTY, it is a size M."
E140 is smaller. M E160 frame = L E140 frame.
It is neither unfortunately. I usually get everything online but fucked if i could get a hold of one of these!
Try your local bike shop... giant and specialized definitely both deal with praxis. I had no problem having one ordered in from a specialized dealer nearby. Was only approx $45-50
Solid looking design with a good fit/finish and some little touches added on.
I dont like how the battery is placed so high/forward in the frame, surely they could have dropped it down/back a good few inches.
I feel the fork is optimal in this length, it seems to work nicer. Very smooth but also plenty of support and ramp up when it gets into the travel. I have removed all but 1 volume spacer and dropped the air pressure right down from what i was running @ 160mm with 2 spacers.
I'm no pro but it...
