Been dealing with concusion symptoms for 4 months after pedal strike back in may broke my 3rd set of 150mm cranks (Giant reign e+ BB is way too low).
Just fitted a 140mm baby sized crank, feels a bit weird pedalling up, but fine downhill. I'll probably run 155mm cranks on my next bike no matter...
Ah that sucks, I thought you were mostly having strength issues.
If your strength is ok, bouldering gyms are really good fun, you can go quite slowly and can pace yourself in order to not fall, not sure if that is compatible with your condition.
Don't know if snorkeling/diving is doable for...
My brother has a simrig for virtual car racing. He uses about €2-3k worth of kit (seat, brace, wheel pedals) and mostly plays GT7 on PS5, with a VR headset. It is really fun and if I had the space, I would definitely set one up for 30-60min sessions.
Similarly, a new indoor electric gokart...
That's the big question, waiting for the ride reviews, by order of hype for me:
Personally, the MGU is the future, but is it worth buying into the first gen?
Is the DJI motor the best of the current set of mid drive motors, and will brands adopt it (with removable battery systems)?
If not...
To be honest, I reckon the entry level version is well priced for an 800Wh full fat, and very well priced for an SL if real world weights can be confirmed below 20kg. Specialised won't even sell you the Levo SL FRAME for €6500.
He usually posts pictures of the winners receiving their prizes, I know a guy who won some crazy rare forks.
But yeah, I guess be careful, don't join this raffle, as I'm 21 tickets deep and don't need the competition...
Looking forward to the videos, again I'm playing devils advocate in my previous post!
On the geo: didn't someone just post that the chainstay was 473mm on theirs? Can't find the post and am worried I have gone delerious? (ignore this)
I'm a "normal" sized guy at 5'10, the size S would be...
To be clear, I have no real world experience with this, just repeating the usual talking points you see on these threads. Personally, I'm convinced by the MGU positives, but will most likely wait for a cheaper and less extreme geo implementation.
I'm sold on gearboxes, but there are always compromises:
Poor/no shifting under load
Additional transmission losses
More parts to go wrong within an already very unreliable system (I mean ebike motors as a whole, not pinion specifically)
Heavier system weight
Possible kinematics and geo...
Got an email from AMflow saying they will have a booth at IFA Berlin tomorrow, I wonder if there will be more news (i.e. ride reviews).
It's pretty bonkers how much and how fast DJI are releasing these days, today they announced a completely new drone, they have a new camera under wraps coming...
Cheers! I'm sure its a very busy period with the new Spesh and Bosch around the corner. I imagine many are like myself waiting for the announcements at the end of september to decide on the next bike!
Great job with the pod by the way
First ride test: Exclusive test: 2025 AMFLOW PL Carbon Pro – What is AMFLOW’s eMTB with its DJI Avinox Motor capable of?
Spoiler: there is almost no information in the article. Infuriatingly so, nothing about range, power, ride quality (they only talk about the rear tyre being rubbish).
Come...
I assume Rob is one of the moderators, and he knows everything. The moderators delete only the rumours that are accurate. Therefore, all the rumours that are still written in this thread are wrong. :ROFLMAO:
Bosch gen 5 is expected in October with more range for 600g less weight. I would expect Orbea to update the Wild as soon as possible because other brands will start to approach the wild weights more easily with the next gen system.
Weird incident:
I rode my bike one evening managing 1300m of climbing on my 800Wh battery with 33% left at the end after 2 hours. I know the last bit of battery goes faster than the start, so I planned to only do a short 200m loop the next morning before swapping batteries.
Take the bike out...
You are mixing up the trance and the trance elite. Despite the names they are completely different bikes, kinda like the Levo and Levo SL. Both types of bike are still in the catalogue.
The Elites have 400Wh non replaceable batteries, carbon only frames, and 27.5 rear wheel only (no chance of...
I rode them one summer, the positives is that they are tough and hard wearing. The negative is that the rubber feels like a bouncy ball, not so much the braking grip, but rather the response to bumps and roots.
So you get what you pay for, I think they were around €30 when I got them and served...
