I've seen some decent deals on magic Mary bike park tyres but can't find much information on this casing/compound.
Does anyone know how they compare to super trail/super gravity addix soft?

Extremely hard compound, only good for the rear if you ride bikeparks several days a week.

You are right there is no real info and no reviews on these.
I fitted the big betty bikepark tyre on the rear recently. It was £18
Mainly as i saw how torn up a new mary addix soft was after a day at a steep loose bikepark.
Maybe slightly less grip braking in the steeps? Or maybe its the tread difference im noticing v the mary?

I don't ride in the wet, so slippery roots etc aren't a concern.
I run an ultra soft supergravity up front, im not skimping on the front tyre.

The betty is pretty worn now in the centre after less than 10 bikepark visits. The side knobs are in very good condition still.

Although with Merlin selling the mary bikepark for £16 and the the addix soft for £25, there isnt much cost saving. But if i had to pay the full price of £50 or so it would be the bikepark version every time.

I put 2 on my Scott voltage for a week in morzine, , rimpack insert on the back , 20psi in both and they did good enough to not worry about grip . The compound must be hard as they looked new after

I rode them one summer, the positives is that they are tough and hard wearing. The negative is that the rubber feels like a bouncy ball, not so much the braking grip, but rather the response to bumps and roots.

So you get what you pay for, I think they were around €30 when I got them and served their purpose. Never got them again though.
