Squirt.
Tried everything else.
Works in all conditions, gives excellent life span, isn't sticky. (Actually change bikes more frequently than chains since changing to squirt) Just re-lube every 30-50k for short rides or once a ride for longer rides. Put it on after your ride or 15 minutes...
I guess something is getting lost in translation.
So you want to keep your motor and your battery ?? But just change the board from the motor and the battery ? This can't be right ?
I'm guessing you want to keep either your motor or your battery ?? and either install the gen4 motor with your...
I don't think there's any auto translation software on the forum.
Most people try and stuck to English as a rule, so you have a consistent base and a chance if getting a decent response to a question.
Tepi was obviously a put out by this and generally ignored it, which led to limited responses...
It seems to be a design flaw in the advent 😭
I tried a replacement one and had the same.
Eventually swapped out to linkglide, though you can just swap the mech to a Shimano one.

Whilst this is pretty much a dead thread where most people seem to have given up trying to have rational discussions or help as the Waldorf and Statler show continues ....
The 14 year old bafang bike is probably hub motored and therefore mounts and works completely differently and doesn't...
I know there seems to be a view from some that it's only emtbs that have motor/electric problems, but it's not always plain sailing... with other implementations.

Looks like a jam2 with upgrades or sam2.
Bosch motor, so a lot newer than suggested.
Not knowing what it is suggests it's stolen.
the guards and stand suggest it's not been ridden hard.
@RustyMTB you're probably more uptodate on colours of that type :)
Keep in mind that @Dax is also a Kenevo FF rider, so whilst we all have different opinions and requirements, he's not just a "lightweight" guy making blind statements.
Equally, the bike he rode could have been badly setup or he could have just got out of the wrong side of bed that day, or...
I run a Brose 1.3, Bosch Gen4 and Bafang M510. I like them all, they're all good. All ball park similar but obviously all different in various ways.
I've had no problems with any of them. They get abused. However, they always go inside a van, not on a carrier. I try not to wash them...
Have you taken the chain off ?
Bike in the air - on a stand, strap, whatever works for you.
Then check the wheel .
Then check the pedals/motor- there should be pretty much zero resistance everywhere.
"Drag" is generally just tyres/weight and the difference between assisted and unassisted.
I just used an angle grinder with a really thin cutting disk. If that's "The best" method, I have no idea, but it took about 8 seconds and left a nice clean cut.
I ran 180 lyric rct3 with 27.5 - it was great.
170 Fox 38 with 29 - it was great.
180 Zeb ultimate with 29 - it was great.
I suspect it will be great !
They used to be present on the forum, but don't seem to be anymore.
You could try and contact rider care in the uk (via the website). They used to get involved in lots of international issues and help out when they could, so you never know.
Hi !
There's short and long answers, but you're probably best absorbing knowledge on the way so you know what you're dealing with.
This threads a good starting point and there's several others :

Cheers.
Basically the same, negligible. Stick them both on a stand with no chain and they feel the same. Resistance is normally tyres/bike weight and the sudden loss of assistance and having to do it all yourself.
The only difference is that with the bosch is it tapers off the assistance over the...
