Have you tried it without the speedi ? If you average out at 1890 to 2298 circumference (guessing at tyre sizes) then you should be going about 22% faster than showing. The bike can't have been limited to 12mph, otherwise it would still stop at a displayed 12 mph..

I think I'd go for the "L" .. They can be slightly short in the arms and if it's too small they're harder to remove when they're sweaty !

I disagree. I went through a phase where I was obsessed with the muc off lubes for ages but had huge chain wear - because they're sticky. Eventually I switched to a lube, ride, clean ride routine which improved things, but it still wasn't fantastic. With squirt I NEVER clean my chain...
