I finally got my Hope brakes, rotors, easy bleed kit, Clark’s brake tool and Hope brake fluid, here’s some pictures, I was going to fit it all this weekend but I promised the love of my life that I’d do a long overdue plumbing job instead, I might score some brownie points that I can redeem as and when I need to 😁😁

Asa the weather has turned to shite, I did the only sensible thing and ruined the lines of possibly the best looking eeb* on the market with a rear mudguard...

No comments about the state of my workshop will be entertained at this time... :ROFLMAO:

Oh trust me she has been enjoying a warm home again, it was my heating system that was on the blink, well more specifically the expansion vessel in our boiler which was perforated, so for the past couple of months we’ve had to re-pressurise the heating every day, new remote pressure vessel now fitted and everything is tickety boo again 🤘

I chose this suspension seat post after some research, and whilst they are not a direct replacement for rear suspension, obviously, they really do work rather well on my Cube Reaction Hybrid. They absorb pretty much everything on the cycle tracks or bridleways etc I ride on (nothing too adventurous) and there is no saddle movement or jerky up and down whatsoever and after a while you even forget one is fitted. No more standing up to avoid getting a jarred lower back over potholes or bumps, and surprisingly effective.

I just ordered the same on from Tredz with £8 off for Black Friday this afternoon. (£30 with free postage)

I figured it was a better option than the full size Mudhugger I have in the garage, as at least you can clip the massive bit on and off depending on the weather.

Did you Helitape it, or just slap it on?

The frame is already wrapped so I just slapped it on.
I’ve got Invisiframe, but I was considering an extra patch on that bit. Maybe not needed though, as it comes with rubber pads on the mudguard I believe?
The Mudhugger was just plastic and annihilated the helitape on my old Stumpys seat stays!

I had a mud hugger and used a roadie inner tube as frame protection on the Rail.
Maybe not needed though, as it comes with rubber pads on the mudguard I believe?
It does, and I'm hoping that's the case. I may swap the supplied velcro for zip ties though as it's difficult to do the velcro up to the correct level of tightness (ie fucking tight!)
