Great- this is the shock I have taken off- I can use the same hardware?
I think so judging by what others have done. Not sure if the stroke length would be an issue here though...Hi there. Is it possible to fit a regular Rock Shox Superdeluxe 230x60 on a L size frame? If so,is the stock hardware the same?
Thanks
Nice yoke- presume you machined this yourself? Would you do another? Are you able to finish in black?I wanted to fit a Super Deluxe, so I made this yoke to lenghten 205 trunnion to 230. Works good.

I haven't tried it, but I think not enough clearance for a piggyback. With my converted trunnion 205x60, there is around 5 mm clearance.Hi there. Is it possible to fit a regular Rock Shox Superdeluxe 230x60 on a L size frame? If so,is the stock hardware the same?

I’m on a JadeX now. Was able toget a good deal on a 230x65. The rear triangle just touches at full compression, no issues with the reservoir. Going to drop in a 2.5mm DVO travel reducer for added g-out security.

Exactly. Today I rode the bike and works nicely, but still have to fine tune it.
How are you getting on with the shock so far, any issues to report? According to the MRP website the hazzard uses bigger diameter shock hardware, were there any issues mounting it up with the standard trek hardware?MRP Hazzard, 230x60, progressive spring. Was going to go with the DVO though i was told they're B/O until October. So far so good, shock feels great.
On a medium- sized Rail, when I tried the Topaz 3, the piggyback was hitting the frame at about 50-60% of the travel.Hi. Read theough the thread but maybe i misses it. Anyone ries the Dvo Topaz on a Rail 5/7 large frame?
thank you
Fox shocks are all the same 230x57,5-65, their stroke is limited by internal spacers which you can buy from Fox. Rail linkage works perfect also with 230x60 shock without any modifications. RS uses different piston rod/lower eyelet for different stroke lengths. They can be also swapped. Both shock travel change requires full rebuild/bleed.Is the 230x 57.5 a rare size? I'm looking in the second hand sites locally for a X2 or RS super deluxe or coil & it seems there's everything but that size. Or is it a very common size & they get snapped up as soon as they come on the market???

You can limit travel fair more easily than a full rebuild - just do what Ohlins/PUSH/Ext do & put a plastic travel spacer under the bump stop.
You can buy nylon washers
its possible to change this bumper space travel on a rail 7 with stock super deluxe ?

No idea, but from my limited research, it seems like the Large & XLarge have more clearance.Any idea if it would fit the XL rail?
Still for sale?Hi, I have the new 2021 RockShox Super Deluxe Ultimate RT3, DebonAir spring, Thru Shaft 3-position damper, 230x57.5 mm for sale. This has come off my Trek Rail 9 as I wanted to run a coil. Only has 15 hours on it.
Message me if you're interested.
Mine will also be for sale as soon as my DVO turns up.Still for sale?

I have got this shock on my 2021 bike it's the best air shock I've used.Still for sale?
Isn’t it the same shock just with more stroke?I have got this shock on my 2021 bike it's the best air shock I've used.
But the shock I really want & the one you want is the shock fitted to the 2021 Slash (I believe it will fit)
With your 170mm Zeb?
Edit. I'm talking about the top end Slash with the same shock as the Rail 9 & 9.8 but with a 62.5mm stroke.
Yea,Isn’t it the same shock just with more stroke?
