Usually the motor lost of power is due to a cable problem.. the cable between motor and battery.
For the new TCU you have to press the Reload button in the Bike setup (Android)
Thanks for the reply.
The motor does not lose power completely, just changes the assist level.
It is clear to see in the field "smart assist changes" in BLEvo.
So, a smart feature changes assist even though all smart features are turned off (unchecked).
I saw another user report the same thing - smart being on when supposed to be off.

Could you please have a look at this issue?
Otherwise - great app, i love it!

Is it possible to add a Emtb mode to the bleep app ?

I rode a Bosch bike and really enjoyed the set and forget mode of Emtb ...

Im sure that can be set on Blevo where the phone does all the calculations and adjusts the bikes settings accordingly.

(I know there's smart power but not sure if it has the same feeling as emts mode)

Just set Trail mode to 35/100 and leave it there. The motor logic sorts the assistance level for you depending on how much power you put in. Excellent.

Not sure if this question has already been asked but is it possible to monitor 2 Specialized bikes, one a Turbo Levo Expert and the other a Vado 4.0 using Blevo?

I would like to use something like "Blevo Lite". I only need the feature of "Smart Power" for tuning the power levels. I don't need things as a map with gpx-tracks or audio-output o a bike-monitor or a remote.....This all makes this fine app to big and uncomfortable and my phone can stay in my pocket. Is there any chance of realization?

Hi, how does that work, if you run both at the same time which one controls the bike?
I would of thought there would be one app that takes control, the one first one to make a connection? I can see how one could work in the background logging data but not if using Blevo on smart settings.
Interesting

I only ride one at a time!

It depends if you have an already registered application for the GPX.. You should remove the registration and so you can choice which application can open the GPX file
ok , ive sorted this issue , for anyone else having problems. I was sharing the map I had created via email to myself. You FIRST have to download it as a GPXfile, then email that to yourself as an attachment. it has now opened up within Blevo.

I am a numpty technophobe....

Is BLEvo only active and connected to the bike, if i start a ride? Without an active ride, only the fix levels i can choose, smart power will not work. But i manage my rides with a Garmin Edge, so there is no need for rides in BLEvo.
If you ride with BLEvo you will have a lot of statistics not available in another way... if you are interested in..

Hi, I'm looking for some advice. Apologies for the long post.
I did a test with a Levociraptor on my 2020 Levo. I used Blevo (on IOS) to modify the speed limit and adapt the wheel circumference accordingly (2100mm - wouldn't go any lower).
After the test I removed the levociraptor again and performed the TCU reset. Much to my surprise the TCU reset returns a motor error (red/black/blue LED). Powering off/on, the bike clears the error and I can ride it normally. Repeating the TCU reset continues giving the error, and no settings have been restored.
Worst of all, if I look in Mission Control, the wheel circumference is set to 2000mm (was 2300mm before using the levociraptor). Compared my riding speed with a Garmin GPS and MC speed is 3-4 kmph less than Garmin, while Blevo speed is almost identical to Garmin.
Is there any way I can still perform a reset? Or at least have the wheel size in MC correct again?
Should I be worried about the incorrect wheel circumference in MC and the motor error?
Is my LBS likely to find out I de-restricted the bike?
Running motor firmware 6.1 and TCU 26.B
Thanks in advance!

UPDATE: inserting the Levociraptor again with the selector in position 1, resets the wheel circumference on the bike! - SOLVED
In any case, Mission Control will not show wheel size lower than 2000mm even if the value is below..

Not got BLEvo yet.. are people generally getting this "what seems a complicated app" to a layman like me to get around de-restriction mod ?

I keep my phone in my pocket and always know where I'm going..
I don't need to know cadence, or heart rate ect .
What benefits are there?

A lot seem to have problems? " I'm a have a tantrum throw phone at wall and then stamp on it sort of guy ??

Benefits for me are : 1. Adjusting assist levels as little as one percent, including acceleration versus Mission Control which is 5 percent at a time and 20 percent at a time for acceleration. 2: Setting the motor to assist at a given heart rate and/or pedal power input. 3: Seeing how much assist I used after a ride I actually used.

In regards to 1 above, the setting is saved to mission control and can be used without BLEvo.

Anyone else seeing blevo stop recording heart rate from the Apple Watch after switching between stats and map whilst riding?

To follow this up, i can confirm from my last ride, that BLEvo spontaneously engages SMART POWER or SMART HR, thus making unwanted changes to my support settings.
i could see support values as - ECO: 4%, 12%... TRAIL:14%, 20%...TURBO: 60%
My (FIX) settings are : ECO: 25%, TRAIL:40%, TURBO: 80%.
Making a manual support change resets to the normal preset, but BLEvo changes it again very quickly.

Anyone else? or am I that special? :)
@PaoloBLEvo - Any thoughts?

I think BLEvo change the assistance percentage only if it is configured to do so..
Please go in the Smart power configuration and disable it..

Both SMART POWER and SMART HR are disabled. That's exactly my problem.
Is there a way to permanently shut these off, other than the screen below?
Also see that "Revert to default assistance% on change of power mode" is off, and still it does it.

Kind of lost here... I love the app but I can't ride with it when it keeps cutting down my power.

After a while that I did not update, I released the version 3.7.1 of BLEvo for Android with a few of small news.

The question that all cyclists ask themselves (at least I always ask myself) is: "But when did this climb finish?".
Now with BLEvo, if the GPX has been loaded and you are following it, the peaks of the climbs will be automatically calculated and a Waypoint will be added automatically. It is therefore possible to configure the display (or a audio message) to indicate how long it is to the next waypoint and therefore to the top of the climb. All without doing anything, simply by inserting the GPX to follow. Find everything in the GPX import menu.

Another important change is compatibility with Android 10. It is necessary to set the geolocation to "ALWAYS ALLOW" otherwise the GPS signal could be lost.

This is the list of all the changes:
- It is now possible to remove speed and cadence from the vertical BM display
- Change the biker and motor power bars for the vertical and horizontal BM displays
- The assistance percentage now has the same background as the assistance level color
- Added background color for motor and battery temperature
- Added odometer field in the display fields
- Added autozoom of the elevation profile
- Added automatic addition of waypoints at the top of the climb
- Added display fields to know when the next waypoint is missing
- Added voice messages to be notified at 1km, 500m and 100m from the waypoint
- Added voice prompt for high heart rate (10% higher than the threshold set in the smart HR) (repeated every minute)

Minor changes:
- Now you can configure the heart rate even without Smart HR active, to make sure you have the high heart rate audio message
- Added arrows on the tour map view
- Replaced ? with ? (if supported by Android 10 phone)
- Added option to not save cadence and cardio data in GPX file
- More than one GPX can now be chosen in the altitude profile
- Added ACCESS_BACKGROUND_LOCATION permission for Android 10
- Now the Vado bike with firmware 9.32 is correctly identified
- Added rise in GPX progress bar
- Enlarged fonts for large displays
- Added average heart rate in short stats
- Added correction on ascent calculated with GPS
- Correct management of authorizations
- Reduced the out of trace message to 2 times
- List of tours revised .. now it's in chronological order
- Now the page is not scrolled if the display is off. First it lights up and then scrolls the page
- Cadence timeout at 5 seconds (previously it was at 2)
- Bugfix: Layout visualization in the language chosen in the voice configuration
- Bugfix: rename files with leading space
- Bugfix: Removing tours could have removed the wrong files

Here is a screenshot showing what is missing at the end of the climb

Here is a screenshot showing the automatic calculation of the top of the climb in the GPX

For Android 10 I remember that you must give permission to BLEvo to be always active, otherwise you risk that the GPS is not saved.

It is darn near impossible to set assistance levels in Smart power, and about the same in user settings 1, 2, and 3. The app wants to revert to ??? Updated iPhone 8.
Never mind. After another read of the manual, I used the “BLEvo Smart” setting before going to smart control configuration. Once at the configuration I chose Pro mode for my ride yesterday and it was excellent, today I was a bit tired so I chose Mid mode and the ride was a bit easier. So easy to choose what kind of workout I want now.

The Trail.
@PaoloBLEvo Quick question - on the iPhone, when you download a map for offline use, does BLEvo use the offline version first if the user has a data connection?

I.e. Would we need to manually disable data/4G on the phone to make BLEvo use the offline map?

Also - the Android version seems to have more settings available (I may be wrong); would it be possible to add these to the iPhone version?

Many thanks

Hi Paolo,
the background color for the engine and battery temperature is very good. But could you change the font color from white to black on the green background? Thank you.

Ok I hate the Blacheart or whatever it’s called. What is the best compact non iOS phone to use as a computer?
I’ve got a ulephone rugged. Works well but not compact . Android 10 and just over £100. Bargain really. It’s also dropped 3 times and is fine..

I'm not too concerned about cost, want the BEST option to run Blevo, Strava, Mission Control and a few other apps, on a relatively small android platform.... complicating things, I have two ebikes that I switch back and forth with.... and Levo and an SL....
