Hi Paolo,

I've just noticed a problem in the latest release of BLEvo for Android, v3.13.1.615. It is the "Activate the screen when the assistance level is altered" function. In previous releases if you changed assistance, the screen would always go back off about 30 seconds after the last level change. Now what happens is the screen will correctly go off 30 seconds after a level change, provided there are no further level changes within that 30 second period. If you change assistance level less than 30 seconds after the last change, the screen stays on forever...you must manually press the phone power button to turn off the screen.

I don't think this used to happen with version v3.12.6.602 and earlier...the screen would always turn off 30 seconds after the last level change no matter what. It's quite annoying as I ride with the screen off most of the time to save phone battery.

Thanks for a great App.

It's fixed now!

BLEvo trouble! I updated to 3.13.1.615, and then updated my phone to the most recent Android OS that it could find. I turned on Bluetooth and location services. I turned on my gen2 Levo.

I launched BLEvo, and none of the buttons do anything. Not Scan, not Bike Setup, Monitor, or Configuration. Even the FB and YT buttons are dead.

Is there some file I can edit to fix this?

Edit! It's working now. It turns out that access to media and files was disabled, which (apparently) causes BLEvo to freeze.

Anything change with Blevo last week? 3 of my recent rides only recorded for less than 4 seconds each. My phone is in my pocket when I ride, so I never notice until the ride is over. This is on two different bikes.

Am I the only one having issues with Blevo shutting off less than a few seconds into a ride? Lately I need to keep checking and restarting Blevo. After the 4th or 5th try it will stay on for the remainder of the ride. No idea what has changed. This is with an iPhone if it matters.

I remember my Android version misbehaved if I didn't set location permission to 'all the time'. Maybe you got an update that modified your permission settings?

I keep my phone in my pocket with the password-protected lock screen active. I guess that means BLEvo is not running in the foreground, which is why the permission needs to be 'all the time'.

Doesn’t even look like that’s an option.

Hey guys,

I have a new Specialized S-Works Levo and I went to install the Levociraptor but the BLEvo app won't pick it up.

I did all the usual stuff with Bluetooth, resetting it and such. It won't scan the bike or ID the unit.

Also, I noticed the instructions are saying that the unit was suppose to have a 6 digit code with it. The only thing in the envelope was just the unit. No numbers on the unit either.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dave

I'm pretty sure that is power delivered to the motor from the battery. Motor power delivered to the crank sprocket will be less than that. I don't know how efficiently the Brose motor converts electrical energy to mechanical torque. A quick search for "typical dc motor efficiency" suggests that the number is in the 85%-90% range for brushless dc motors.

731 * 0.90 = 658
