You probably need to turn off battery optimization for the app. Paolo has mentioned it earlier in thread.

Like this ?maybe
Android - Disabling App Optimization

Thank you Ferdie and Maastricht

I followed Maastricht Instructions on this thread ,page 50 post 1472 on disabling the battery Bluetooth optimization
Bluetooth midi
BT tool
Bluetooth sharing

Now my bike is in the basement ,I’m on the first floor (for You European types ,first floor is ground floor in the United States ?)and The BV6000S is still connected to the bike there’s a huge difference in Bluetooth connectivity. I haven’t done a ride yet but it looks quite good for now.

Thanks

Im after 2h ride with BLEvo, Smart HR on LG G6. Screen brightness on 80% fixed (not good visibility on plactic cover) ride with maps. From 100% i drowned battery it down to less than 10% so i suggest another phone if you want to make longer rides with larger battery or at least not UHD screen resolution. Or powerbank....
Another issue is barometer when holding phone in a blastic holder, when You put it out barometer values going crazy sometimes.
I also have LG G3 it has similar battery but less resolution and has NO barometer BUT......we got fancy MODs with battery :

trouble w/ polar h10 chest strap: it’s been working perfectly with bv6000, blevo and polar beat app for a year. but, the last few rides, the polar beat app has lost the sensor and hr data for half the ride. like, it’s connected to start, but at some point drops. not sure how to troubleshoot. blevo has the hr data for the whole ride. i searched polar and polar forums, but found no mention.
The polar h10 has built in memory for sports like swimming, running, etc. where carrying a phone is difficult. To use this function with the polar beat app, on the start screen after it connects, click on the ellipsis that appears in top right corner, select the ‘Save HR with sensor‘ option then click Start when ready. @ Later when you end your ride, just make sure that the heart rate is shown (indicating that sensor is connected) before you press Stop and then Save to transfer HR data from sensor to phone.

@ I have polar beat app on my everyday iphone that I leave at home, so at this point I lock the screen, then press home button and slide up quick access menu to disable bluetooth. I then open BLEvo on BV6000 and start my ride. After the ride I close BLEvo before re-enabling bluetooth on iphone to then save HR data in polar beat.

What does the prefix PP mean next to Eco, Trail & Turbo
PP is Peak Power or more technically, battery current discharge level as a percentage of 20 amps max.

So if you set it at say 50%, then you're drawing up to 10A max. Multiply that by nominal voltage of 36V and that equates to 360W peak instead of what would've been 720W peak. Maximum or peak electrical power.

The Euro EN15194:2017 regulation specifies the maximum 250W continuous measured at the wheel not as drawn from the battery. Average deliverable power after taking into account the electrical & transmission losses - or continuous mechanical power.

Can I take Blevo off my phone and my bike will go back to how it was before i used it ?
No, deleting BLEvo from your phone won’t restore the bike to defaults.

The best way is just to set it back the way it was in BLEvo & keep using the app.

I dont think thats a clear reply at all.
It's crystal clear to me: don't alter the speed restriction or wheel circumference. If it's a new bike or recently updated firmware on an older bike, then most likely you can't change the speed restriction and wheel circumference to below 2000mm in any case.

So we keep our BV6000 for a while :)

Yes, it's a good choice as "only for ride" phone. Don't consider LG G6 as it's replacement. I got LG G6 as a everyday use phone and thats why i use it with BLEvo. As a replacemnet ill try to give a second live for my LG G3 as only for a ride with BLEvo, will see.

thank you @Indigo !!! when you do this, is blevo connecting to the polar and displaying your hr during the ride on the bv6k?

Today I completed my 56th ride with BLEvo...
More than 100 hours recording data of my bike.. I did more but in dicembre 2018 I changed the phone and the backup functionality was not yet ready so all my old rides are not present..

Who did more? ?

aloha paolo et al ? i’ve been away from the thread for a little while. i see you’re considering a new handlebar device. im still pretty happy w my bv6000s - it’s a little inconsistent w basic functions, but maybe my fault as i am accustomed to apple. also, the maps work fantastically, but the chore of uploading the tiles is tedious. (i live in northern california so im always going new places)

so, maybe you already mentioned in an earlier post, but why are you looking for a new phone? are android 6 and 7 getting obsolete?

I'm not looking for a new phone, but for the best phone for BLEvo..
The size of the bv6000 is perfect, but what I don't like is that the screen size is not optimized... I mean there are a lot of space in the border not used for the screen... the LG G6 has the same phone size, but the screen is 1" bigger than bv6000.
If you have a bv6000, it is a very good phone for BLEvo.. you don't need to change it.. it is not obsolete..
The LG G6 seams to be a good phone for the new users, for who has not yet bought a dedicated phone for BLEvo.. I have some doubt about the battery duration.. I will test it..
