Thanks. I've been looking for solutions. However, I'm not sure I will need them. I will ride it for a while first then decide . Pick up my levo HT 2019 next weekend from Specialized. Bargain !

Quote from @ccrdave earlier in this thread:

The 2019 hardtail have either 1.2 or 1.3 motors Blevo will work with these.
2018/2019 kenevo Blevo will work

So I guess you're fine. Have fun!

Yes, this has kind of confused me. However, is this meaning blevo with pair with the bike and allow all functions, including changing the motor assistance above 25kmph or does this mean blevo app will pair with bike but WONT allow motor assistance level above 25kmph but you will get all the other functions ?

Ive read so much on this whole thread I just want an expert to put me right.

As when people say 'this don't work on my bike' they could be talking about the pairing of the app with bike, unlocking faster assistance speed, or some other functions... Language is so individualized

I was under the impression that blevo could no longer give you a higher assisted speed above 25kmph .

Though it does still appear a great nerdy app for the levo despite now being 'locked down' by specialized.

Grant as far as I understand all EU /euro bikes are 15.5 mph (25kmph). Are you in USA 20mph (32kmph)?

My understanding was that our bikes are 20mph, but that might not be true of the current models... I did a lot more research when I bought my 18 as opposed to buying my 20...

I have downloaded BLEvo for my 2020 HT, changed the max speed to 20mph, will be going out a bit later and will let you know if it works..

Wow ! Great news dude really hoping us poverty owners can still have full control over our older tech. Looking forward to hearing your results later.

Ok, it does seem to work on the 2020 Levo HT, not sure if I had it set up correctly? I had the circumference set at 2300 (29er) and the limit set at 20.2mph, battery life wasn’t as good I suppose being that a lot of the time I pedal over 15.5mph and the motor isn’t working...usually on a flat around 16.5mph so the motor would in fact be working at this, also the total mileage on the turbo connect was way out, I did nearly 29 miles according to strava, but turbo connect had it down at 23.

Will the blevo app pair with any smart watch. Looking for a cheap heart rate monitor.
Any suggestions ?
Until now, BLEvo is compatible with Bluetooth heart rate monitor.. the smart watches use different protocol to send the heart rate.. I have to check if some "easy" smart watches can do this..

Can't seem to get past the speed limiter on 2018 levo with 1.3 motor even though from what I've read here I should be able to.

What am I missing? Firmware is 2.3 and TCU 1.7. I set max speed to 30kph in BLEvo and power the bike off and on. As soon as I reach 27 I feel the motor kick off. With my 32t chainring that's as fast as I can actually manage so my top speed is effectively 27 on the flat.

I must confess to being fascinated by the technology available via the BLEvo app. I had one of my most enjoyable rides ever by experimenting with the smart power.

I had been eyeing out other bikes (due to the better components they come out with) but I can't imagine changing from Specialized unless BLEvo makes something for the other motors.

I've asked thsi before, but never got an answer.

Is there any way to save seperate smart configurations for two different bikes? As of now, every time I switch between bikes I need to re-program wheel size, max speed, etc.

is it possible to make the app remember that the Elevation graph is hidden? Or default to off as previous versions? As it is now it always reverts to beeing on.I guess that most rides are not ridden with an active gpx track with elevation data.

You can find the option in "BLEvo configuration"..

Today I completed my 56th ride with BLEvo...
More than 100 hours recording data of my bike.. I did more but in dicembre 2018 I changed the phone and the backup functionality was not yet ready so all my old rides are not present..

Who did more? ?

would it be possible to merge rides from two phones..? This would allow old rides to be added to new rides.

....and no, I haven’t done more rides than you...?

Ok, next question
When I am goung riding, i start Blevo on the phone, put on my hrm monitor. I then start the bike and remote and have all three as blue dots.
When I go to the Bike Monitor to start the ride it very often are disconnected again from all three. Sometimes it will connect after a while to bike and remote but not hrm or vice verse.
I then quite Blevo and does the same again, waiting for the blue dots, go into bike monitor and it is repeated. Is there something wrong with my BV6000?

One possibility is under the phone's - Android - Battery settings, make sure you have Battery optimisation switched off for Blevo and Battery saver off too & I don't know maybe also see if 'Intelligent power saving standby' really is that intelligent.

The BLUE dots don't mean "Connected" but "Found close to the phone". The connection procedure is long and can take up to one minute...
So when you press the bike monitor button, you have to wait sometime waiting the connection (with (y)) of all the 3 Bluetooth devices.

I love the option to have 'General Lee' as a bike bell, I have my phone mounted on the handle bars. Pedestrians love it!
Yes it is yet another unique Blevo feature more than just an Easter egg. I thought I'd mount a Megaboom on the handle bars. Pedestrians don't love it! I (and they) discovered the hard way that it automatically defaults to maximum volume :D I thought I turned the volume down but it still went to max.

I'd like to deploy some subsonic snake countermeasures. Some extra sounds would be even more awesome or a user supplied selection? Like a Lightsaber?

Haha I'm not going to ride any trails with that thing on my bars but maybe in my backpack for a laugh. Maybe a smaller speaker mounted lower on the frame.

I'm going to have to try the lightsaber out one way or another.
