Does anyone know if the Voima “trail” uses a different swing arm or is it just a shorter shock?
I asked this…(I am waiting for my true gold Vioma Race ID 190 mm complete to be shipped)…here is the response from Pole:

“Exact details of the Voima Trail set up is yet to be announced, but it will use a 170mm travel fork and shorter stroke shock with a new yoke.”

Has anyone mounted a Sram Eagle GX Transmission on a Voima?
I watched the video of @Rob Rides EMTB and at 8:38 min it shows the SRAM APP Setup Key B. But with me it shows Key A?
What is wrong?

As soon as the price goes down a bit, I want to buy the Sram AXS Eagle GX in August, because I'm riding the Stonman Taurista in Austria in September :cool: :love:

I’ve got mine in B and it works great. Use the settings in the app not the ones from SRAM’s website (frustrating that they are different).

Just changed mine from A to B setting and tightened it all up. Seems to have fixed the shifting problems off the set up cog. Trail test later today. Thanks for posting this.
Well apparently take my advice with a grain of salt. What I thought were hub issues are actually the XO derailleur skipping as well as the transmission drivetrain creaking like crazy.

Will run through a reinstall / retorque today as well as check chain life and report back. It did work great at first. Guessing it’s a torque issue but we will see.

If you ever want to derestrict, then get the swingarm/rotor magnet. If not, then get the rim magnet. I got the PE slider, chain guard and chain guide and I have the race axles on my current Voima. As far as the fork, if I were you and I could afford either fork, then get the Zeb Ultimate, (I have a 40 on mine). And a K2 should be fine.

Rotor magnet yes. Will allow easier de restricting if you want to go down that part.

Race axles probably a good idea for 105kg

Pe slider. Definitely the motor sits low I bash the slider every other ride.

Bash guard is pointless as it sits higher than the pe slider also pole chain guide mount is week at breaks. Get the velo vision chain guide mount.

Get the zeb ultimate. Always spec the best damper in the fork/shock if you have the option.

Re sizing. Size based on your preferred reach dimension not your preferred top tube dimension. I'm 180cm on a k1 and bloody glad I didnt go for k2 (which is what pole recommended). Voima is a BIG bike with a stupid short top tube. Note my preferred reach dimension is 450mm.

Side note. I've done 500km without a chain guide (waiting for the velovision one to turn up). Chain has fallen off twice.
PS My 500km has been pretty hectic. Not many easy km in that 500.

All the issues…

My XO Transmission is fully f-cked. Reinstalled and put in a new chain today, but still chain still skips all over the place in 3rd gear and even a bit in 5th. Install fully dialed with torque wrench, etc.

Going to remove Transmission and install regular ol’ eagle axs stuff off the pedal bike to see if it behaves.

Also, finding motor randomly turned off (I.e. no lights, fully off) at the bottom of chunky descents. Happened 3 times today. Motor power also cuts in and out when pedaling for a bit after I turn it back on. Super weird.

I guess I have to bring in to a Bosch dealer to have them run diagnostic to check for error codes? Wish I could do this myself. F-ck.

Yes swing arm mount. The magnet is on the rotor, the sensor is on the swing arm.

Not that surprising about the sizing when you look deeper most racers and advanced riders are downsizing their frames from Pole recommendations. For the record I typically like to ride one size smaller frame than my mates of similar size.

What make model and size bikes do you currently have? and do you like those dimensions. What is your level of crazy that you ride?
PS Yes 12mph would suck.

15.5mph. it's definitely not 12.

That's sucks re the drive train. Surely you can take it into a bike shop for a warranty claim?

The flow app does show error codes. That might help you pin point the switching off error.

Ps The switching off sounds like a loose connection. I'd check all your plugs and battery connection to see if anything is loose or not plugged in properly. Unplug and plug back in. Look for bits of debris stopping the battery locating correctly.

How many km are you at?

No kms yet, but I’m at 400 freedom units (kidding… wish we were metric actually).

My charger flap was open when I got home from my ride with electrical issues. I’m hoping some dust or water got in there to cause the issues. That would at least be easy to solve.

The drivetrain sh-t is really annoying. Not a good sign for SRAMs new system that I’m tearing it off after 400 miles. Sounds like there are some other folks on here with similar stories, so hopefully we get it sorted. We are the canaries in the coal mine testing the new T-type system on e-bikes - way more watts and distance.

Yeah, Once you tag above 20 (32kph for me) you have a heavy slug motor resistance to try and pedal. I did a day on the gondola bike park hitting the jump run. I took about 4 pedal strokes then maxed out on speed. The bike then became harder to get speed and clear the jumps than a mountain bike. I physically coulding go fast enough and pop high enough. to clear all the jumps. 30% of it I couldnt get. In that instance, an ebike is slower and worse than a mountain bike.

50kph motor cut off would be nice to at least be able to go the same speed as the pedal bikes when running into fast jump lines.

I have micro adjust on 1 (i.e. fully inboard) and it’s still clicking like it almost wants to shift up/outboard. My derailleur clearly wants to be closer to the cassette.

I literally get better shifting if I max out micro adjust to 14 in the other direction and shift the range over by 1 (but obviously I loose gear 1 and risk dumping the chain off the cassette if I shift to gear 12).

I’m looking for some kind of spacer or something I missed (?). Cassette and derailleur clearly want to be a few mm closer together.

Stumped.

I have transmission working well on my Voima after changing to the B setting. Have you tried moving the chain one link on the cassette in case it isn't syncing exactly?

Have you check the cassette for bent teeth?

Apart from that I'd loosen it all and reinstall ensuring it's per SRAM instructions then if that doesn't do it get onto SRAM and see what they say.

Thanks. Out of curiosity, how many miles do you have on the new transmission? Is it the original Voima or the Voima ID with the updated chainstays?

Reinstalled mine half a dozen times now, no luck. Like I said, mine worked like butter when new, now this. Reached out to SRAM yesterday but nothing yet.

Yanked it all off today and back to X01 AXS. If anybody was wondering, the T-Type chainring is absolutely compatible with Eagle. So much marketing BS…

This, 100%. Assistance is definitely needed over 20 when in the bike park to clear bigger jump lines.

Seems like maybe a bent tooth on the cassette. Do you have access to another cassette to see if that’s the issue? I would do that so I could eliminate that possibility. If that’s not it, then it’s the derailleur.
