Hey I'm thinking of changing the headset/cockpit setup of my E160 700. Running the cables differently and seeing if an angleset will work . Has anyone tried this ? Can't find headset specs.

I knocked this up on the lathe. It's 15mm deep and lifts the BB about 6mm. Desperate to get the pedals higher but can't find short cranks for the EP8. I also shifted the control wire from the daft headset slot to the downtube by drilling a second hole in the cover plate.

That's neat.
I considered making the fork 170mm but the front end is already fairly high.
Have you removed the steering stop.

Yes, took that out too. First time I tried to turn on a narrow track it jammed and almost had me off - straight home to delete it!

No reason it won't. There's always a way but I'm not sure I understand why you think there might be a problem runnning an angle set?
