Are the boots the generic XX1/XO1 SRAM ones or specific for these cranks?

That's interesting, I ordered boots for XX1/X01 cranks (00.6118.444.000) and they didn't fit. Should have ordered the other ones!
The generic SRAM ones I got were a bit of a tight fit, but are ok once on. You need to put the Allan key into the pedal at a slight angle for a start to get it through the hole!!
I bought a pair from this seller and they fit perfectly so it seems like you bought the wrong ones

I bought XX1/X01 cranks boots (00.6118.444.000) and they don't fit correctly. They are too tight and the pedal thread on the crank doesn't align with the hole in the boots. They looked about 1-2mm off, but when you tighten the pedal it pulls into place. Just put the washer on the crank arm before the boot, and tighten.

If the other guys aren't having the same issues it makes me wonder if the sellers are mixing up the boots!
Maybe - although mine look and fit fine now they're on. The hole at the pedal side is big enough to compensate for the 1-2mm offset. Not really a hardship... so I'll use them for now as lets face it, they're just going to get scuffed up by rocks eventually anyway!

hello im completely new to the sport but not to bikes nor ebikes
so I was follow v2 SL news for longest time but was bummed it's unchanged at 320Wh after more than 3 years (which is almsot an eternity in ebike advancement timeline)
tried gen 3 Levo because better 'bang for buck' but i did not like the weight, tried og SL because that's all the LBS had and also tried the new Giant Trance E+ 400Wh which was neat but realistically now im back to looking at this bike
has anyone tried this between the '23 Orbea Rise carbon? How's the ride and durability of components (not accounting for availability/after sales support)
i feel like I should go try the Trek FXe as well, anyways I really feel like 500Wh internally for just a bit more weight would be ideal

was your rise a 21/22 or 2023?
It was a 2021 model.
For longer rides buy a range extender giving 480wh. Keeps the weight light and not adding too much with the extender when required.

I am also waiting on a full review of the orbea rise carbon 2023.Already launched 6 months ago and still no full riding review… Rob mentioned a few months ago, it’s coming, but still no news… problem is the availability because the stock of model 2022, I assume they want first to sell the stock models 2022
The frameset I bought in the UK came with both.

I got a Fuel EXe earlier this year. I’m very impressed with the Trek but also had a great experience with my previous Specialized e-bike (Vado SL) and so am curious.

Will definitely post my feedback on both bikes.
Frameset only cost in the U.K. is £5750. I’ve only seen 1 site advertising it for sale… but I just asked my LBS for one as soon as the bike was announced.
A comp is £7000 and an S-Works is £13000 here for comparison.
It’s widely available in the UK, specialized concept store, leisurelakes, brink, tredz, Certini, to name just a few… all have it online.
I think it’s a great value option (in todays warped economy!) if you’re up for a build. You can definitely build up your own S-Works with as good as, if not better spec for well under the full bike asking price.
I agree, it’s is good value. Can be built up for a fair bit less than S-Works retail price, even with the same/as good components.
Shame it’s the dull colour but it’s not offensive. Looks like I’m going this route now as opposed to the White/Silver complete build.

Ah ok... I only saw it on leisurelakes for a start - but I never looked again after I placed my order!
They gave me the false hope that my frame was going to be silver.
I think the best value would be to buy a Comp and strip all the parts off and sell them - then do your build to be honest.
Neither of the Comp colours appealed to me (although I didn't really want black either!)... but when I ordered the Frame Only, I was expecting it to be silver based on the photos going around. I prefer black to the orange or brown though.
I worked out that you can build an identical build to the S-Works for under £11k using all the same components... but can build your own (potentially better) spec for a bit less using other wheels, bars, stem, brakes, saddle etc from your preferred manufacturer.
The Roval carbon wheels are fantastic. Been riding them for 12 years and not a single issue. Give a lovely riding feel too.
I’ve tried others including Enve and DT Swiss. Always came back.
Nice to choose which brakes/bars/stem etc though.
