Looking sick mate. Need some new pedals though
What was your last bike, how does this compare?She will be treated to a new set of pedals, Was going to go blue again But you Got me thinking now... Mrs always going on to me about matching clothes etc...Looking sick mate. Need some new pedals though
i'v had two gen 2levo, 9.8 trek rail, two gen 3 levo pro then s works, canyon strive on.
The rail was probably best suited to my needs out of that lot, and most similar to the crestline. The strive on was a good bike, best suited to a bike park, Mine was Faulty and i lost faith in the brand.
The crestline jumps too, Also eats all the rough, most of my riding is natural mountain, wood tracks.

The new rockshoxs vivids fit but there is clearance issues with mud. And push 11/6 with hyper coils won't fit but any other spring will.
iv ordered Fox x2 and 38's, i have an ext storia i will get altered to suit, But i liked the fox x2 when it held air... there supposed to be more reliable these days so will sling one in and try.

Has anybody replaced the headset bearings yet, and if so are they tapered bearings ?? The frame is 56mm top and bottom but without stripping it down i can't figure out what one's i need to replace the FSAs in there
have you got the standard or works -5 in there ?

Luvvly jubbly, i'v got an ext e storia waiting up mojo's, trying get half a day to go out with jack any try it. Must say the X2 has been perfect in there though, Cant say the same about the 38's..

Do you not find the 525lb spring too soft? I just put a DHX2 with a 550lb coil on my XL and I found it far too under damped through big hits. I’m 94kg, similar to yourself I believe. I took it off after one ride.
Just put a Vivid on. Hopefully will live up to the hype!
Found it good so far. Am 82 ish around 85 in riding gear.
Ok right. I have to slim down a bit!
It could also be that:
- Fox specifically tuned this DHX2 for my Crestline, not sure how different the damping will be versus stock, but no doubt makes a difference
- Its not uncommon for springs to have upto 10% tolerance to printed weights, so mine could be as high as 575 and yours as low as 500 (unlikely, but possible!)
EXT state their tolerance is up to 3% (so a 500 is could be between 485 - 515!). I will have a look see if I can find more!

I'm really interested in a comparison between this and the Voima.
Crestline was my first choice and Voima second. But I couldn't get the crestline landed in nz for a reasonable price so the Voima won. Since then they have started selling frame only which might make it feasible for e-bike number two.

).I've had my Crestline 50/75 (1,500 miles) and 75/50 (1,800 miles) for 8 months now and plan on purchasing a 3rd when the new batch comes out. I plan to keep all 3 for the next year. Best bikes I have owned hands down! Best customer service ever!

The Crestline's suspension platform seems to have a bit better small bump compliance, and is feels a bit freer to move through its travel versus the pole. It has less anti squat (which I don't mind) and I think that, with its different suspension design and curve, help translate into more supple feeling out the back.
It feels a bit more like a conventional enduro bike, but with a lot more travel, rather than Pole mini Dh bike kinda feel. Much lower BB (mines 445 in MX).
I personally like both a ton, but I prefer the way the Crestline rides.

PS my pole is pretty darn plush in the back with an ext coil.....

Thougt it would be around 23kg. That's only 600grm lighter than my Pole.

The Voima frame weighs 4.3KG
Crestline won’t be a huge amount lower.
So most Bosch bikes with 750 battery in proper build are 24-26KG
Here’s the stock bike build with carbon wheels / carbon bars / air shock / 200mm rotors
It's Suprising how much difference a pair of heavy carcus tyres make to the bike, Like you say frames are light, its everything in or on it, The battery must weigh as much as everything else..
