Plenty of Chinese carbon frames out there, mostly with Bafang motors but a few Shimano fitment.

As far as mainstream manufacturers (which is pushing it a bit with Crestline and Nicolai TBH) I think that's it. A common approach is to buy the cheapest version of the bike you want and build it up to your spec. It's long been known that you can build an S-Works beater for significantly less than the sicker price.

shimano and bafang as many are already aware are not the best way to go regarding motors. Chinese frame sets as we have seen many times are also not to be trusted imo...but id like to see AMflow do a frame/motor option, i think they wouold do very well on that and maybe change the way the market works?

I think there are probably good frame options direct order. They're made in the same factories as the name brands.

Citation needed...
I recently looked into a Chinese neeb frame and there were loads of places selling the same frame for wildly varying prices and with decidedly dodgy geometry and/or kinematics. 170mm travel on a 55mm stroke anyone? 460mm reach on a L?

Some may be made in the same factories, but to the same quality?

I like the hybridizer sann and rando.
For F/S I like the traditional aluminum frame and carbon on a hardtail.
