Hi !

iIn Europes conditions everything is covered:

"
Lifetime warranty* to the original owner against structural defects in material or workmanship on ALL models of Specialized-branded frames and forks

  • Includes seatstays and chainstays on full-suspension bikes
"

Best regards,

Chris

Makes sense, might be a USA only warranty stipulation. Sounds like a good deal for those that get the coverage.

Funny that I was told that they wouldn't cover it. And crash replacement might be a whole different program. Specialized dealer employees have given me bad advice on many occasions so I understand if multiplestories are being told. Maybe it's more of a case by case decision. It probably depends on what the dealer tells the factory warranty rep.
Thinking the same on case by case for dealers. I usually call specialized rider care in US to get answers. Then i go to the dealer already knowing what’s up. Luckily my LBS is trustworthy and always takes care of me. They’ll reach out to the warranty reps. Sometimes dealers can get mixed up with warranty info since they deal with multiple suppliers. I’ve been going to the same LBS for years

Under Global Warranty Policy (USA/Canada file has the same verbiage)

Hi @Lasse, excuse me, if I can ask, 2 questions, first one I have a fox 38 set at 170 mm and I have a head tube angle of 63 degrees, with a "low and slack" set, you who use the zeb 180 what hta do you have?
second question, I am 82/83 kg with clothing, helmet and backpack and body protectors, I have a dhx2 factory 2021 and I use a 525 lbs spring as cascade table and I am fine, but I do not do high jumps, I ask you that spring you use and how much you weigh, thanks.

Hi @maramouse .
I used a 29" rear wheel combined with low setting, no changes to head cup.
My weight is 80-82kg, and used a 500lbs fox SLS spring, and was happy with that.
However, the MARZOCCHI Bomber CR is not up to the task. My friend had the same setup, and we both have blown the shock oil out. Are now looking for a replacement shock

Anyone paired the long kit with an e storia or push 11/6? I like the x2 but not airing to 265psu every other ride. I have an ext in my amish bike and that shock is awesome.

How did you fit a 29er wheel? I tried and it didn’t even come close to fitting. I had a 2.6 tire. Are u running a 2.3 or 2.4?

also, why did you choose to go with a 29er instead of mullet?

Maxxis Assegai 2.5" fits if you have rear link i "long" setting. Some mud guards might have clearance issues..I have a pair of SC reserve 29", and love those. Actually haven't tried the mullet setup yet, will do that👍🙄

I messaged cascade components earlier today to see what they recommended to use with the link. Between the ttx22 or x2 and 160 or 170mm fork to which I was half expecting them to reply the x2 and 170mm upfront. But instead, their response was the ttx22 and 160mm upfront. Which kind of begs the question is anyone running it with a 160 fork up front and if so how are you finding it geo wise compared to the original stock link?

What are the advantages in ride quality and handling of the gen 3 levo with long cascade link versus just going with a newer Kenevo? I'm debating getting new 2021 or 22 Kenevo with 700 wh battery and putting my 230 x 62.5 EXT Storia lok 3 on it. Similar set up to what Rob is doing with mullet or full 29er set up on his new yellow Kenevo.

I’ve been riding the cascade long link with a Ohlins TTX22 230x65 with the Fox 38 extended to 170mm for the last few months. I’ve ridden BPW and more local trails and I’m very happy with it, slack at the front with high setting on the rear. Back end melts away out of mind now.
I’m on an S3 at 85kg.
we are heading to Morzine this weekend for week. I don’t do massive jumps, but doclear tables and do good size drops.
The bike feels really good, probably lost a bit of fund simply because it is so much more capable now - but that’s what I wanted to be able to soak up big landings.

Also the BB height feels fine, honestly no issues.

I just picked up a gen 3 a couple days ago. Got the comp carbon and put my parts on it. Got the long travel link today and have the E stroia EXT on order. 38 at 170mm, ran that shock on my 2020 levo and it was rad. I thin kit is prob the most durable coil for the yolk style bikes.

Can anyone share there fox X2 2021/22 build code? Long link is coming and I have a X2 with a medium compression and rebound tune. Will this work OK? Considering the stock tune seems to be low compression and firm rebound, TIA

170mm travel up front. 165mm rear!

Will post the 210x55 for sale soon
** you can see the DU bushing on replaced shock (hole near HSR) View attachment 83403

*Took the 230x65 X2 from my Kenevo and serviced by Fox. Fitted the stock rockshox coil back on.

**i was lucky to already have a DU bushing for the shock. Saved me from dropping what i was doing and making a run to the bike shop. You can use the old bushing from the old shock if you have the tools. But I recommend having a new DU bushing. (Don’t know if this was mentioned on CL site as i did not read any of the instructions lol)

Hi matey! I was just wondering where you found those graphics for the air can on the X2? Many thanks :)
